When i try to create a movie it works in creative mode but not in play mode all i see is the ground witch is very strange.

If the level settings are on Cinematic Mode, then it will cause the player not to spawn from any checkpoints, so if the movie starts by detecting the player, it won't work. You need to set the level to co-operative mode or make the movie start automatically.

You need to set the level to co-operative mode or make the movie start automatically. To make it start automatically, you can either attach a battery to it, or as I do, attach a NOT gate to it (because NOT gates are easily turned off.)
