..I just noticed something...call me crazy, but Ive been working on a Gallery of different stuff since LBP1, when I imported the Level to LBP2, the Thermo had less space than In LBP1!!! now im grateful they changed and fix the Sticker limit, you can add like over 100 stars stickers on a material ( I think). Ok now...I have a feeling its a glitch, cause the same thing happened to me while decorating my Earth, I was putting stickers, decorating it etc and the thermo was basicly on zero...all of a sudden it just barshed up like went all the way up really fast and it gave me the Over heated message. Weird thing was...I only deleted 1 sticker and it went all the way down, and you can imagine how confused I am about it... The Gallery im working on right now Is almost over heated and It barely has complicated stuff, actually not at all it has, most of it is stickers and art. Im confused about this, has this happened to anyone? But I hope MM fix this when they fix the loading thing. And...I dont know if anyone has noticed but the Famous annoying sticker glitch is still around =/ But on another note... I wish MM would come up with more drawing tools, and feature to make more stuff happen like for example a tool for cell shading, or shadowing objects and stuff, an Ink effect (Okami style) something like that. A Better way to draw rather than using the control stick which sometimes is annoying, A Brush!!! for crying out loud XD its so easy to give us some kind of paint brush where we can put a sticker color or design to it, and as we use the brush on something, the Sticker color etc...reflects basicly on what your painting. A Cutout tool for Stickers, not one that cuts a material into the shape of a sticker. And other stuff, more colors, a darker purple and simple Blue. Color effects like a fade, blurry, smoke pe etc etc etc, everything new is amazing but Id love if they would make that Happen. Theres a LBP Competition on Deviant Art right now, if they do that cant they look into something like this? And make a dlc or something? Case your wondering.. You know your art program? (If you have one) everything you can do in it etc... imagine if some of those things could be used in LBP2 somehow.

i know this isnt really related, but has anyone noticed if the new lighting system has effected making custom stickers?

If you add a lot of stuff in quick succession to your earth, the thermo with overheat. Just take it slowly and it'll stay down. Speed should not affect the thermo... MM should fix this at some point.
