DCS on sackbot?

Archive: 9 posts

In one of the beta videos, It shows sackboy in a DCS that's attached to the sackbot. I've tried to put the seat onto the sackbot, but it wont let me. Any advice?2011-01-23 16:55:00

But that's just for the Receiver DCS. I want to put the Transmitter DCS literally ONTO the sackbot.2011-01-23 17:33:00

I found the video. Pause at .59 and you'll see what I mean. The DCS is ON the sackbot.

Yea, I know what you mean, but that isn't possible, and the best way to make it seem as if that is the case is to follow the usually invisible-hologram method of controlling a SackBot, just don't make the DCS/Controlinator invisible! Hope I helped!2011-01-23 17:54:00

Found another example. I'm still curious if this is even faintly possible, without using the Hologram method.

sadly its not possible, but if you tweak the follower system that super_clone said then you can achieve a really good effect. still though, i wish we could do this ASWELL as what we have now, it would just bring a lot more options to the table.2011-01-23 20:07:00

This is very possible. Place the controlinator (Transmitter) on a hologram that's right in front of the sackbot. along with everything else you have set up. The sackbot will be able to pass through the hologram. (Just set it's brightness to 0% and it'll be invisible.2011-01-23 20:22:00
