We are consistently getting a frozen PS3 with White Screen of Death doing the steps I outline below. Can other gadders help confirm this is a problem -- could just be something with my PS3, but if it is wide-spread, we should let MM know.... I've reproduced this several times, tried a number of workarounds. It happens 100% of the time. Steps are as follows: 1. Start PS3, select user 2. Sign in to PSN or don't -- doesn't matter 3. Start LBP2 4. Add 2 or 3 more players for a total of 3 or 4. 5. Pick any level; our favorite is Hedge Hopping 6. It shows loading, then the screen goes WHITE and stays that way. Waited 20 min once, to no avail. 7. PS3 now toast; have to reset PS3 completely It *will* work with 2 players, so repeat 1-4 above, adding just 1 player (total 2) and you can play. > 2 players will not work on this or any other level that we've tried. Workaround Attempt #1, a.k.a., the big tease 1. do 1-3 above 2. skip 4, do 5: go to hedge hopping. To recap: you are in LBP2 Hedge Hopping as single player. 3. Try adding 3 more players once the level has loaded -- hooray, there they are! 4. Play the level. 5. When the 3rd sackthing dies, the level hangs. The last player is frozen mid-jump on-screen whilst the PS3 is just totally, completely frozen. Thanks for any help from fellow gadders in confirming the bug, trying to confirm the bug, and best of all, telling me how to work around this bug. Best, TC
