How do you create the boost-mechanism (and effect?) of the Hamstertron?

Lets say that u have a circle shape with a regualr bolted center 1: attach a controlinator at or near the center of the circle 2: use a tag but put it on the same radius of the controllinator(so basically above it) 3: put a follower with an inverse timer and link the timer with a button on the controllinator 4:use a joystick rotator and attach that to one of the analogs this should work, if someone has a better solution, let me know
