That's right, earlier today, me and, Joey (XTrophx) Managed to get the top Score on the 2 Player scoreboard on Tower of Whoop, obtaining an amazing foll level combo! Our score is now above 800k! Funny thing is, if it wasn't for Joeys incredible persistance (obsession ), and persuation to keep me there on so many runs, this might've not happenedTwice I almost left, and twice he kept me for "1 more run." which usually meant about 20 - 40 more. XD Before this, we managed to score about +400k, both satisfied with the score, but Joey's new suddend whim to give it another go just because, is what got us the gold! It was a real pain, admittedly Joey did most of the work, as he was leading, and I was pick up, but still we had to keep a close watch to each others actions, as either's wrong move usually meant a c-c-combo breaker. So, yeah. Oh, and if Jaeyden or Morgana are reading this, please DO post. So, what are your current Scores/ Ranks at ToW (any number of players.)? I'm pretty sure there's gotta be some more rankers in the forums, right?

You've broken Morgy's heart Yaru. Nah - Congrats! My best in beta was with Jaeyden - 480,000 something. Two combos to get that. My best personal single player was 300,000 then it failed to upload the score. Bummer, guess I'll have to find more time to practice

is "ranker" the new "pro"? Ranker = people who try to rank high on anything on any game if possible, it has nothing to do with skill measurement, sure its reccomended you do have some moderate skill on whatever you're a ranker, but not necessary, it merely means you're trying to aim for the top score, please don't try to start a fight and talk without knowing what you're talking about. I've had it with you people that get offended because of any mere term one uses, even if you yourselves can't come up with a saisfying term you demand others do, wich is extremely dumb in my opinion. Got a better name for it? Go ahead and say it, otherwise don't complain. Beides, even if a term's ok with some it will not be ok with all and others will complain anyways, so I decided I will use whatever term I like since someone's gonna be mad whatever term I use anyways. Now please, refrain from making such useless/ inflamatory posts, if you don't like a terem I use in future posts, simply ignore it, as I now have said do not care for your or anyone's opinion regarding "proper terms" anymore. @Morg: We can always try for a higher score. Its not impossible yet. There's still also 1, and 4p high scores to get too.

Please don't invoke anger, it's unhealthy for everyone! "Ranker" is a varying and crazy term, so I don't think an argument is necessary. So who here agrees that Tower of Whoop is extremely addicting and fun? HMM? A level for all time I believe, did you know it was one of the first levels Mm built for LBP2?

Guys..... Let's not get hung up on labels. I don't think anyone was getting on your case SL or arguing about labels. I like a good challenge so the high score stuff is more about the chase than actually getting the high score. So ya, whatever ya wanna call it, it's just fun. Let's drop the whole label thing. k? (and the "moodiness" from everybody too - doesn't accomplish anything and usually ends with a post from me saying I locked the thread....)

is "ranker" the new "pro"? Ranker entails a specific goal to get a high rank. It's a weird sounding word (which brings to mind large monsters that like to bite the heads off of green pig guards and suffer from a weakness against being crushed by huge metal doors) but it adequately conveys the intended meaning. Pro is short for professional: somebody who gets paid to do something, and calling yourself a "pro" gamer when you're not actually getting paid to do it is a good way to get laughed at (in fact, even if you do get paid, you'll still probably get laughed at).
