Cutscene mode
Archive: 3 posts
I've been having one major issue in trying to make a cutscene level, which is between two playable levels. but really the issue is with cutscenes as a whole. no matter what i try, i can not get it to use the cameras that i've placed(tried both movie and game). every time i enter play mode it shows a shot of the bottom of the level. I've tried sequencers, batteries to activate cameras, switches, just about everything i can think of to force the first camera to activate. can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong? also, is there a way to force a link to another level after a CS? | 2011-01-23 09:04:00 Author: pooter3001 Posts: 9 |
well I'm not sure you can force a link but set the output of the end camera to a dissolvable material which you are standing on so that you fall on to the level link.I haven't tested them out yet so I'm not sure if there are different options but it does force you through in the story mode so it should be possible. Also this may sound nooby so don't get offended but did you change any of the settings for the camera yet? That may be why it isn't working. Otherwise try a player sensor- that's how I got mine to work. | 2011-01-23 10:15:00 Author: I_PUNT_KNOMES Posts: 42 |
Reset the sequencer & pause before it starts. Attach a battery to activate it. Without unpausing, go to play mode. That should work. | 2011-01-23 10:18:00 Author: Jedi_1993 Posts: 1518 |
