Turning on lights with a sequencer
Archive: 3 posts
One more (probably silly) question for the night... Using the sequencer I want to do several events and a few of those events are to turn on (and leave on) a few spotlights. I do not want to use a battery like it shows in the tutorial because I want the lights to stay on or turn off after another event triggers them to do so. Any tips? | 2011-01-23 05:12:00 Author: kevmann Posts: 4 |
I have one. Attach a counter to the sequencer, and then the counter to the light you want to turn on. This will keep the lights on indefinitely once it comes up in the sequencer. Then to be able to turn it off by a separate event, add a switch or a button to the reset in the counter. Alternatively you can add a toggle switch to the selector. First add a directional combiner to the selector. (The output of the selector takes the place of one of the inputs one the combiner) Next add a button or switch to the other input of the combiner (This will act as a reset button) Then add the output of the combiner to a toggle switch, and from there hook the light up to a toggle switch. I will give the counter suggestion a shot. Thank you! | 2011-01-23 14:10:00 Author: kevmann Posts: 4 |
