Guys, I have been working for many many hours over the last few days on a level that has random finishing bots racing. Using the randomizer, sequencers, and lots of other things, I have three distinct runners that finish a set distance at different times. I can fully tweak their personalities/speeds. I have built a test track and should have 200 races completed by the time I wake up in the morning. They are on repeat right now and I'm tracking who wins, gets in second, gets in third for each race and will share the data tomorrow. My idea is using the score giver, players can come in, bet on five races, then leave. Each race will have a different outcome and many end in dramatic fashion. I'm really proud of the way the logic works for the racing part. However, what I can do with logic, I can't do anything with design. I'm looking for help. I have played with cameras so when a race starts you get many different views of the action... Right now, the race is build to last 40-45 seconds. A short delay and then the bots return to the starting line .. wait wait.. then they're off again... I still have to build the logic for the betting (It's in my head). However, I think I have done enough work so far to show a person or two that I am serious and want to build a decent level here. The logic to get the racers random, to build a test track, and the most difficult part -- determining finishing position has been tough but I've got it going really well right now. I want to show someone the level, bounce ideas off each other.. test theories.. and work towards a nice looking level..

Hi Kjdadada, I am a logic guy myself and it sounds like you did a great job. I would love to see the level and work on it with you, and im sure we can figure the rest out Also if your interested I have put togeather a team of "capable" creators that teach and learn off of one another while collaborating on ambitious levels and projects. We are always looking for more talented members to increase our ranks and I would love another Logic guy to work with. Thanks Poker, I would love to learn a lot more and share my experiences if they help. I will add you later today. The first thing I need to learn is how to share levels with just certain people. That basics really. Ken
