How do I make perfect survival challenge game-end?

I'm having trouble figuring out a way to send the player to the scoreboard after the FIRST death. I know there's the way to make a special contraption to do that but I don't want to mess up how my level looks right now. I've tried putting a destoyer tool on the entrance and when the player enters the arena the entrance disappears. But the problem with that is when you die it doesn't take you to the scoreboard. Have a player sensor that covers the play and spawn areas, send it through a "NOT" gate and then have the not gate activate a game ender. That way when you player dies, the sensor is NOT active and, in turn, the game ender is.2011-01-23 04:48:00

I just tried that but it gives the same result as if I were to destroy the entrance spawn. Is there a way to send the player to the scoreboard??2011-01-23 20:34:00

You could set it up the "old-fashioned" way. Just us some pistons to move the entrance over the scoreboard when the challenge begins. That way, we they die, they will just fall and land on the scoreboard.2011-01-23 20:45:00

Something that always works for me is when I place a second checkpoint above the scoreboard. Something I have notissed is that a chechpoint has an input for a logic signal. By sending an high signal into that input when the challange started, will place people above the scorebOard when they die. And when all people are dead, the game will be over.2011-10-27 16:35:00

FWIW, a Scoreboard has a similar input, cos it's also a checkpoint.
