i just have one simple question, is there a way you can set it so the controlinator can't be exited?

That is it's default state. You have to wire it up to exit.

There's a port for it on the bottom right of the dcs.... I think that's where it is. You hook up a wire from the dcs (usualy the "o" buton ) to the port that says to exit dcs.
