Okay, I'm still hyperventilating here, as I was just subjected to a HUGE glitch in the game. I was playing through the story mode with my two brothers, and we just finished the last level (took us two days!). We had aquired quite a lot of prizes in just one runthrough (5 100%-ed and 5 aced!), and were really excited for it to be over. However, after the final level, it was loading the cutscene level afterwards, and froze on the black loading screen. After about 5 minutes, we had to manually shut down the game, bummed that LBP2 had such an annoying bug, but still excited. However, when we returned to the pod, and I signed in with my PSN, it asked if I'd like to import my profile from LBP1 (like it does when you first play LBP2). A little confused, I accepted anyway. When I appeared in the pod, my Sackboy was wearing the lipstick skin from LBP1. Strange. I checked my popit. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY OF MY LBP2 ITEMS!! All the skins, costume pieces, and (as we found by going into Create mode) all of the new create tools were gone!! The weirder thing was, my brothers still had all THEIR new stuff-- I was the only one affected! Another odd thing was that I had saved one costume (in my Costumes section) that had some LBP2 costume pieces in it, and that was the only thing that was saved. The only way to re-obtain them would be to go through all the levels again, and my brothers aren't too keen on doing that. There's no mention of this in the Playstation Support forum, and I doubt MM would be able to give me anything back... I'm really stressed about this, guys. I really don't want to have to grind through the whole story mode again, but it doesn't seem like I have any choice. I don't really expect anyone here to have a solution, but it helps to vent a little. So, does anyone have any suggestions?

hello wow this is happening alot. same thing happend to me i was playing with my brother aswell and after we beat the negavitron the game just froze.but i didnt lose anything thankfully,i always back up anyway

The only glitch there was the game freezing. It happened to my brother too. What you did was overwrite your LBP2 profile with your LBP one. Not a glitch, you just made a mistake.

Well, guess I have to go through everything again *sigh*. They really should fix that freezing glitch, though. Thanks for the replies!

It warns you that importing a profile will over-writte your current one, meanig, do it early, or you'll loose anything later. Not a glitch, you cimply cannot import selectively or have 2 profiles at once, its either a new one or the imported one.

Okay, I KNOW this is a glitch. After exploring my Create Mode popit a little longer, I noticed that there lots of the tools were placed in random categories, even ones that shouldn't be there! For instance, in the Toolbag, there's several weird categories including "Wood" (in which the 3 new powerups are), "Water Objects" (in where the Sackbot and Sackbot AI tools are), and "Obstacles" (in which the rotator tools are located). I'm currently re-making my categories now... I was more amused by this than losing all my stuff... as you can imagine.
