Seemingly simple logic question

Is there a way to make a block (in my case a 3x3 metal block) be anti-gravity, respond to a mover, but not respond to any other physics going on in a level? Sort of. You can give it a grav object with 100% dampening that turns on whenever the mover isn't on, but when the mover is on, it will be subject to being pushed around by other objects. | 2011-01-23 02:28:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |
yeah its possible all you do is put an anti grav on the thing and have your mover on it too. Anti gravity isnt NO MOVING AT ALL like dark/light matter. it just doesnt respond to gravity is all. | 2011-01-23 02:31:00 Author: jonlolz Posts: 155 |

put an anti grav tweaker on it, set to 90 dampening or so. put a mover on it that's stronger than the grav tweaker. put another grav tweaker on it with 100 dampening, but attach an impact switch to it. if anything hits it, it won't move. lastly, put a material tweaker set to indestructible on it just to be safe. all inside a microchip of course. there might be a thing or two you could add to it that toggles off when the movers activated. gyroscope, followers etc... whatever it is your situation needs. | 2011-01-23 02:34:00 Author: Unknown User |

Well, this is EXTREMELY close. you could also buff it up with an OR gate. impact + sensor switch with a small radius to OR to 100 dampening grav. that way it turns on when sackboys just about to hit it. you could also have a tag sensor to detect approaching tagged objects in the 3rd OR port to give it a grace period for particularly close calls. | 2011-01-23 03:09:00 Author: Unknown User |
