Angular Velocity

While playing with the Creatinator, I notice it has an option for Angular Velocity, but I cant see any difference no matter what its set at. Or maybe I dont completely understand what it does. (Rotation speed?)

Can someone please enlighten me?

The Experiment
I created 3 dispensers

Object to Emit: Plazma Ball
Max Emitted At Once: 100
Linear Velocity: 3.0
Angular Velocity set at -1,500, 0 and 1,500 respectively.

Me & a friend spent a while experimenting & could not assertain any difference whatsoever.

well, as Silverleon explained. it appears Angular Velocity determines the initial spin of the emitted object.

Seems so obvious now, sigh...

Object to Emit: Plazma Ball


Try emitting an object that isn't spherical symetric (a milk bottle for instance). Then I'm pretty sure you will see the difference ^^
