Ok I'm still on LBP1,here the 2 still is'nt out Is all the day that online is really really slow,but who cares I was playing a level and BOOOM black screen Appear the account selection like when you just started the ps3 I enter again in LBP and... surprize it start the stupid tutorial that you see the first time you play LBP Is like a total reset,i've REALLY lost all? dlc,item get by ace and 100% complete the game I have tons of costumes on my profile and more important i've probably(surely?) more than 50 euro in dlc I'm even not sure to be able too recover dlc from transitions since i lost my password long ago Seriously wtf happened? ps: I checked in "utility of saved data" apparently there is a profile data,but seem old and anyway the game seem ignore it pps: on "utility of game data" there is a lbp data with a pic of the basic brown sackboy

Your old DLC is in the PS Store download history. Just go to the store and access the download history to see all your purchases. Unfortunately I can't help with your other issue.. I'd advise you to back up your profile now though. So you can try to figure it all out later, without loosing the data you had before.

wow if this happend to me my ps3 would be found in 10 years time under my patio,be sure to back up regularly in furture Now i'm thinking to import profile from utility saved data,watching the costume pic seem old,but at least is waaay less absurd than do all again from begin I still have'nt do that,because i want hear some opinion before I don't even know if it will work Honestly if i've to complete 100% and ace again all LBP1 levels and dlc levels (+ all the boring x2 x3 x4) to get back all the stuff that i need for create i don't know if i want to waste again many many hours (i work and i've a gf,i don't have so much free time)... i love lbp and the few people here that remember me know how much efforts i've put in,but if i must restart from zero,i will probably just drop it and not buy lbp2

sorry but i think you will have to do those levels again,the info from your profile is just gone,best you can do is import that profile at least its better than starting from scratch. its happend to a mate afew times on lbp1 he had to import an old backup and start again,luckily he did back up or he would have lost everything. i sympathise really i would probaly stop playing too

That would be really sad. That being said, you don't have to go ace all the LBP 1 levels. I never did - most of that stuff you don't really need to begin with. Heck, LBP2 has more than enough materials, and all your old levels are still online - so you could even cheat and just grab the materials out of that.

Data loss had been an issue and will remain an issue. Back up your data, not doing so is like leaving your front door unlocked in Liberty City.
