"Preview" checkbox in Create mode

| Alright, so I'm checking out the pause menu in Create Mode, mostly standard stuff there. Grid snap, angle snap (That's new to me, and I'm very much glad they put that in), and Preview and Front View check boxes. I know what the Front View checkbox does, but what exactly is the preview checkbox used for? | IIRC, it provides a play mode view (HUD etc, without all the wiring) but within create mode, so you can test how your level will look without having to go back and forth between play and create mode. | 2011-01-22 22:15:00 Author: Unknown User  |
| Create mode for obvious reasons makes all things visible even if they should be invisible, when you turn on "Preview Mode" you will see only things that player can see, so invisible will be invisible. This includes things like circuit boards and so on, same visibility like in play mode. Also it wont turn switch magically from create mode to play mode, so things like HUD, scores and finish still not work, you still in create mode and have same rules. | 2011-01-22 22:20:00 Author: Shadowriver  Posts: 3991 |
