Problem with Arena Pit Survival Challenge Emitters

Alright, here is the basic design of the level so far; You start out in a room, and you walk down a hallway that leads to a pit. Inside the pit is a Paintinator. You jump down into the pit to grab the paintgun, and suddenly, little swarms of sackbots come running out to kill you. But here's the issue. They don't start coming any faster, it's just the same pace. I need somebody to walk me through, or help me with the designs of a Micro-Chip, that allows me to halt all spawning of Sackbots until I get into the arena pit, and slowly increases the spawn rate when I do. | 2011-01-22 21:19:00 Author: OhYesISquid Posts: 7 |
Use a selector. It's default state should be 1, with nothing. then add to number 2 (triggered by player sensor in pit, once only) your first wave of sackbots at slow speed. when they are all dead ( can be by counter of how many died) switch to number 3, which releases the second wave, faster. continue this as much as you like, or can, for the ultimate survival experience, and this way you could even make random signs out of hologram( or whatever) appear at the start of each wave, or maby make like big bosses at, like wave 10, like a huge sackbot. | 2012-01-30 17:53:00 Author: Unknown User |
