I have an odd question, and I wasn't entirely sure if it belonged more in this forum or the LBP1 help forum. I'm more or less done with the story levels in LBP2, all I have left is to go back and ace them. Obviously, I imported my save from LBP1. So with a pop-it now sharing LBP1 and 2 costumes, stickers, decorations, etc.. would it break my game or anything if I went back to LBP1 to get whatever costumes and whatnot I missed? Or will the game just act like the items from the second game aren't there?

It'll just act like the items from the second game aren't there. I believe that when you return to lbp2, it will even notice that you have new stuff in your lbp profile and offer to import it again, but I'm not positive about that last part (think I saw it in the beta). In any case, you'll be able to redo your import and get whatever costumes/items you've collected or created in lbp1 imported into your lbp2 profile.

When you update your LBP1 profile, it asks you in LBP2 if you want to update your profile. You should be able to update just fine It doesn't overwrite your LBP2 profile to my experience.

Awesome. While it wouldn't be the end of the world if my LBP2 save was overwritten, I would prefer it didn't. I'll give this a shot later on then. Thank you guys!

All that has been said is true but you may think the dilemma would be that if you reimport your LBP1 profile in LBP2 after you earn more stuff in the first game, you'd lose all your progress in the second game. This is probably true, so instead just go on LBP2 and press "Import Objects Collected in LittleBigPlanet" Hope that helps!
