SackBot Logic!?!?

Ok, im makeing a Moral kombat esque fighting game using sackbots. When I make the sackbots punch they activate a behavior chip for a second. My problem is that while that behavior chip is active they can switch layers. I cant adjust the the behavior chip to not alow them to switch layers because its on act. Atm I have a wall of holigram on the layer behind my sackbot that pushes him to the front layer when ever he comes in contact with it, but it isnt seemless and looks very messy. Does anyone know I better way to do this?? Thnx in advance for any help 2011-01-22 17:27:00

Hmm im not too sure. After a couple mins thinking the only thing i could think of is maybe setting up the logic so if say up or down on the stick is pressed it turns off the animation(via switching to the original behaviour chip).2011-01-22 17:36:00

Thnx for the response, it might be a better solution then my current one but theres two flaws I see with it. Many of my combo's and special moves utalise the up key so they would have to be changed and my punch animations would be cut off early wich would look funny. Its a solution but hopefully theres still something better. If you think of anything else please post, ima keep brain storming myself.2011-01-22 18:08:00
