This is a level I whipped up kind of last-minute (or rather, last weekend) in hopes to get the sixteen hearts I needed for the platinum trophy in LBP. You spawn on a pirate ship, and must defend it from the birds that are trying to bomb it from the left. You are given a paintinator with twenty-five rounds per clip, so accuracy is key. It's a fairly rough design and I probably could have done a lot more with it, that much is fairly obvious, but if anyone could critique something less blatantly obvious, I'd appreciate that. The ship, for example. What I'd most appreciate would be if someone could give me a few tips on how I could improve it. I already have the following ideas lined up: Legitimate start/ending/story: I plan on adding in some story to the level. In it, you'll play as a ninja who just helped some of his friends steal a pirate ship, and you are now heading back to your place to get the loot, when the birds start attacking. I plan on also making the ship move, and eventually get to land and have a few events happen between waves. Reaching these points will earn you extra prizes and such. Shark enemy: A shark that'll attack the bottom of the boat from the water's surface. Probably with a bomb. No, I won't just use the same shark that's been used by every other level creator and their mothers, I'll probably try making my own. Better spawning timers: the enemies come few and far between... I need to fix that. Higher health: Currently it only takes just one shot to kill each bird. Any more would've made it kind of unfair, but if I can readjust the speed they come at you, I can probably increase their health and remove the 25-shots per clip restriction.
