Synopsis: A relaxing day at the zoo goes bad when an elephant rampages through the park and knocks down the fences. Getting out of the zoo just got a little more difficult.

Graphically there is not much too this level other than the zoo's inhabitants. While that is not to say there is nothing good to be seen. The animals in this level are done very well, however they do seem very familiar as if I have seen them somewhere, and no it wasn't in the zoo. While they could have been created by Max_Coffeebreath and even if they were not, they were used sparingly through the level and were the levels only highlight next to a fantastic tree. Not much else to see and the design was simple with very little use of LBP's three layers. The tree is perhaps the only spot where it entailed your little sackperson to jump to and fro the layers.

Sounds and Music was average. I wish there were more sounds associated to the ambiance of being in a zoo. Such as the sounds of little insects through the air or the chirping of birds. There were other places where sounds could have been used but were absent, such as being in such a wonderful tree, the powerful gust of wind would undoubtedly be upon your sackperson at such heights.

Gameplay was just as described. Very relaxing. There were very few hazards involved in this zoo and had no real challenges. Unfortunately the greatest challenge was trying to get score bubbles in the tree as there were a few spots where the layering made it very difficult. The cheetah you ride is also very short lived and was burst into pieces as it smashes into something. However, since there was no learning curve or any true level of difficulty, it captured the imagination of my 4 year old and was simple enough for her to play with no hang ups.

Final Thoughts: This is by no means a level for someone looking for a challenge. But, as my 4 year old can attest, there is an audience for such a simple minded level such as this. Steer clear if your looking for something new and inventive or something to challenge your mind or quickness of finger tapping. However, if you have a child or if you yourself want simplicity and ease, than this is the level for you.

I Rate The Elephant Incident :star::star::star: Stars
