Least Favourite Section?
Archive: 49 posts
I felt the worst section was the Islands. It just felt dull and unimaginative, whilst all of the others gave me some sort of creating epiphany. What was yours? | 2008-11-09 17:54:00 Author: floor3013 Posts: 287 |
it was probaly islands for me too. im currently almost done with wilderness and it is great fun.. another section i didnt like at all was the wedding | 2008-11-09 17:59:00 Author: Snrm Posts: 6419 |
i personally thought the islands were great. excellent platforming challenges there and very unique. my least favorite was probably the metropolis. decent platforming challenges (enjoyed the subway train) but overall it felt a bit bland and gimmicky with the cars. also i liked it's art style and music the least (Except for the "singer is a crook" song in the 3rd level... which i have yet to unlock and i NEED that song! | 2008-11-09 18:15:00 Author: Conall-Star Posts: 157 |
The wedding. Hated it. | 2008-11-09 18:30:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |
The wedding. Hated it. ...Are you serious? I mean sure, the Darkness is a bit dull and Skulldozer is basically a minigame, but what about Wedding Reception? That's the best level in the game! Or...tied with Meerkat Kingdom. I disagree with most of the posters above, the islands was great fun and really original, especially the one level where you fly into a volcano! Sensei's Lost Castle was a real frustrating level, though. I love every level, but if I have to say which level is my least favorite...I'll have to go with Metropolis. I really liked the boss battle, though. | 2008-11-09 18:40:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |
Are you kidding me? Wedding reception was poor xD The darkness was horrible, because it makes you squint. Skulldozer is meh worthy. | 2008-11-09 18:42:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |

What I also didnt like about the Islands was that while some of the challenges were clever, they required a massive element of luck and to get certain items you had to do the same thing a hundred times over. Overall I just thought it wasnt well thought out. | 2008-11-09 18:53:00 Author: floor3013 Posts: 287 |
What I also didn't like about the Islands was that while some of the challenges were clever, they required a massive element of luck and to get certain items you had to do the same thing a hundred times over. Overall I just thought it wasn't well thought out. no doubt the island was hard but i appreciated that. it by far felt the most intense of all the levels and really made me feel like i was in ninja training! i love games that make you FEEL like the actual character. | 2008-11-09 19:12:00 Author: Conall-Star Posts: 157 |
It's great. It's all fantastic. You're all NUTS! | 2008-11-09 19:36:00 Author: BasketSnake Posts: 2391 |
The worst for me was probably the Islands | 2008-11-09 19:53:00 Author: Unknown User |
Mine would definitely be the Canyons, it was a bit too frustrating. | 2008-11-09 20:12:00 Author: cursedbalcomb Posts: 16 |
In terms of platforming, boom town was definetly the worst, it was so frustrating!!! the wedding reception is a great level, yall are crazy | 2008-11-09 20:31:00 Author: Gondito Posts: 1082 |
i did not like the feel of the wedding but the islands was not that hard if you just step back and look at it, the wooden planks, people get stuck on that but what do ninjas do in the movies when it comes to bamboo they run on it >_> so just run across it and no the items were not hard to get they were just fine for me the islands was actually creative in the terms of the challenges and it made you an even better jumper because you had to be precise for some of the challenges, the wedding though was kind of weak in my opinion and i just do not really like that dark, slightly emo wedding feel thats my 2 cents but as far as the creation aspect of it all, they did a great job at making them Cheers! | 2008-11-09 22:50:00 Author: RAINFIRE Posts: 1101 |
I feel my least favorite section is the gardens, because overall its the most bland, but my least favorite level is Boom town, i cant say the canyons is my least favorite becuase i loved serpent shrine | 2008-11-09 23:01:00 Author: Gondito Posts: 1082 |
The worst is metropolis, there wasn't enough stuff to do and it was well, ......Stupid. | 2008-11-10 00:54:00 Author: BloodFlameX Posts: 349 |
No wait, the one with the Magicians palace thingy, and the elephant temple thing, those were the worst. | 2008-11-10 00:56:00 Author: BloodFlameX Posts: 349 |
Metropolis for me. It's just... Boring... | 2008-11-10 01:11:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
I loved the Wedding. Excellent design, and fun levels. My least favorite? Umm... The Gardens. | 2008-11-10 01:29:00 Author: Tyler Posts: 663 |
Canyons was horrid. Boom town was the worst level in the whole game. | 2008-11-10 05:24:00 Author: Pinkcars Posts: 380 |
For me it's prolly The Wedding... I keep dying <.< (the first level in The Wedding) | 2008-11-10 12:07:00 Author: Vecayse Posts: 18 |
I'd have to say the Desert area. | 2008-11-10 12:59:00 Author: Code1337 Posts: 3476 |
Definitely Metropolis for me. It was too 'meh'. It hardly gave a challenge, platforming was dull imo, and the whole concept was poorly made. I actually liked the whole Wedding section (It's not my favorite though <_<); While Skulldozer was very short, it was fun. The Song in the First Wedding level was awesome, and I just loved the platforming in it xD The Darkness wasn't that bad. Meh, sure, it was slightly bland. But I actually had trouble getting 100% in it. | 2008-11-10 15:24:00 Author: Forsaken Posts: 950 |
The Gardens were an appropriate introduction to the game, but they are far less interesting than the rest of it. | 2008-11-10 16:32:00 Author: Risen Posts: 251 |
hands down. worst area is the gardens nuff said | 2008-11-10 17:03:00 Author: kit07 Posts: 84 |
Yeah but it is not fair to the gardens seeing as they were "tutorial" levels introducing you to the game. For what they did they were just fine. | 2008-11-10 17:08:00 Author: Simplton Posts: 63 |
i hated the metropolis | 2008-11-10 17:37:00 Author: Mod5.0 Posts: 1576 |
I have to say The Canyons. Not to say that I despise those levels; they're just not among my favorite to play. | 2008-11-10 19:14:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |
I can't decide, they're all so awesome! | 2008-11-10 20:26:00 Author: mongoose7 Posts: 473 |
Seems like the favourites at the moment are The Islands, The Metropolis, The Canyons and The Wedding. So middle section then. | 2008-11-10 22:58:00 Author: floor3013 Posts: 287 |
The Canyons were definitely the worst. Boomtown and The Mines were absolutely horrid. That snake level was the only redeeming quality of that section and even that was just average for me. | 2008-11-10 23:41:00 Author: Cloud Posts: 74 |
I wouldn't say I hate it, but 'Metropolis' was by far my least favorite. Part of it was a song in 'construction site' (or whatever it's called) that REALLY annoyed me lol. | 2008-11-11 02:46:00 Author: Sack-Andreas Posts: 70 |
The Wilderness. Not because it was challenging but rather because from an aesthetic point of view the other areas were much more impressive (although the dog-sled sections was pretty cool.). | 2008-11-11 08:57:00 Author: OCK Posts: 1536 |
I *HATE* Boomtown. Its hard, but not fun hard like other levels in the game...just annoying hard. I wouldn't say I hate it, but 'Metropolis' was by far my least favorite. Part of it was a song in 'construction site' (or whatever it's called) that REALLY annoyed me lol. Thou shall not speak poorly of Battles! That song is awesome! | 2008-11-11 18:14:00 Author: kepsux Posts: 7 |
Haha, islands was the best level, I got the most laughs out of it with my mates. Standing at the end and slapping them off back into the domino's set. | 2008-11-12 01:15:00 Author: Quarter Posts: 30 |
i expected the wedding part to be bad but i played today and enjoyed it heaps. it was really fun and challenging | 2008-11-12 06:36:00 Author: muttjones Posts: 843 |
I *HATE* Boomtown. Its hard, but not fun hard like other levels in the game...just annoying hard. Thou shall not speak poorly of Battles! That song is awesome! It's by far their worst song. God knows why it was put in the game, let alone they released it. | 2008-11-12 12:02:00 Author: ryryryan Posts: 3767 |
Definetly the worst for me so far is the first level of the wedding. Far too much non-precision death and cheap spring jump timing for my taste. | 2008-11-23 06:43:00 Author: Elbee23 Posts: 1280 |
i liked all of them. My faves were The Metropolis, the Wilderness and the canyons. Although I liked them all very much, i think the gardens could have been improved | 2008-11-23 09:01:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |
My worst was the wilderness... It just seemed so "ok, these are the last few levels, now we are going to make everything really hard." Without any imagination. Maybe i'm biased because i've still not aced the bunker after an hour last night though. | 2008-11-23 13:53:00 Author: FrozenNeon Posts: 77 |
Probably the Islands. It was a good section, but some parts of it were way too tricky. Take the second level of it for example. The beginning where you swing from sponge to sponge was nearly impossible. And I love the first level of the Wilderness, but I'm still stuck on the Bunker and I HATEHATEHATE that level. | 2008-11-23 14:36:00 Author: HalfSwiss Posts: 86 |
The darkness was boring, I hate having to wait for something. | 2008-11-23 17:21:00 Author: Unknown User |
I wasn't a big fan of the Islands. I wouldn't say I hate it, but 'Metropolis' was by far my least favorite. Part of it was a song in 'construction site' (or whatever it's called) that REALLY annoyed me lol. I kind of love that song. It does get annoying after awhile though. | 2008-11-30 06:39:00 Author: Unknown User |
The Wedding with the exception of the Skulldozer level. I wasn't really a fan of the theme, and I wasn't really overjoyed by imprecise jumping. Nor did I enjoy waiting for the dog. | 2008-11-30 09:32:00 Author: flakmagnet Posts: 1084 |
I hated the "Battles - Atlas" song. So much. Though my least favourite were the Temples, followed by the Canyons. | 2008-11-30 18:30:00 Author: Unknown User |
The wedding. too dark imo and only the skulldozer was fun. | 2008-11-30 21:37:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
worst overall section for me was the wilderness, still wont play it through cos I'll kill myself if I hit the electrified material in the big rotating drum of anger. | 2008-12-01 21:00:00 Author: Dave-la-kingenbo Posts: 43 |
The 2x part in the great magician's temple (or was that palace?) God, coupled with net lag especially that place is just so annoying. | 2009-01-03 00:14:00 Author: Foofles Posts: 2278 |
That place is easy. I have to say... least favourite part... errr... None. I love LBP waaaaay too much to hate any part of it. | 2009-01-03 01:50:00 Author: DRT99 Posts: 431 |
I hate it to unlock everything on the Islands, the stupid platforming parts of it but personally I hate the Wilderniss the most.. annoying wheel in the bunker, annoying extending squares in the Collectors Lair, and worst of all, the stupid thunder!! only thunder, thunder , and more thunder.. it sucks.. | 2009-01-03 21:27:00 Author: SmallLargeEarthling Posts: 29 |
