In the record a speed part of the magic mouth it says "use a playstation eye or bluetooth mic" when i put in my playstation eye, the record sign doesnt pop up, help?

Make sure you go check your device settings in the XMB, check the audio and make sure that it's input settings are not greyed out. If it is, select it, and you can scroll to the PS eye and select it for input.
