I'll probably finish my entry before I recieve my copy of LBP2. The "level examples" are just screenshots from LBP2. I thought we had to draw the whole level??

But...I don't really get what you're supposed to do...Do you draw it/make in real life, or do you actually make a level-in game? Does it have to be a drawing of the whole level, or just a section of it/concept? I don't get it!

I wonder how they'd feel about designing everything on an image, but then also creating and publishing a level based on that way before the contest ends/is judged. Would just seem a waste to sit on a great level idea until March just in hopes of winning a contest...

According to the rules, you could technically build it in LBP, then export and combines lots of photos/pics. As long as it's jpg/png/whatever. I hate when contests/assignments have non specific rules!

But yes, interesting one is not included. I think it's because Media Molecule doesn't have anything to do with this contest. It's Sony that organized it and did the whole partnership thingy with deviantART, not Mm. Mm is the one in charge of giving out crowns, not Sony. It makes sense.

I dont have any Fancy art programs (I wish, money problems lol) but I wish they would make something like this but, in LBP such as LBP Art competition you know what I mean. But dam im wanted to enter but my sources arent enough =/. If you have photoshop, you could easily make a "blue print" type level plan. Or even just take some cool stuff from your room, and make a long horizontal chain of cool stuff, like a rube Goldberg machine. And then photograph it. And honesty, I haven't spent a cent other than my computer, tablet, and accessories.

So what would one do if someone took someone else's work and uploaded it for the contest? As I made my LBP background simply for my background thread, I've been informed on the same thread that someone took it and uploaded it for this...hmm? Will providing the larger resolution of the same art be enough to prove that they stole it? I have a size 2x times as big as the one they has been supposedly stolen.

It's only been a few days - All the REALLY good artists actually take a while to make their artwork, so of course the...least impressive entries are going to be showing up early on. wow..no offense, thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard, time has nothing to do with Skill, creativity, everything related. Im guessing you know art, and im suprised you would say something like that. Anyway, some entries are actually pretty good and yeah Ive been noticing alot of entries are copied, alot of them look very very similar >___<. I could use 600$ XD Heck who wouldnt!! I wish I could join though but I dont have any the sources to enter =/. Unless I make one out of pencil or ink but idk really.. but good luck to everyone who entered! Im sorry for writing that, it just...idk something inside me reacts when I see how people make others feel bad. You understand what you zim and midnight are saying is mean and offensive towards those who already published there work. Anyway just keep that in mind, I know you guys are good at art but that gives you no right to treat others or refer to them as inferior, calling there work bad etc. I know you understand this, just dont be like that, we dont want Negativitron to come back lol =P but you know what I mean.
