controlinator issues

| ok ive been bashing my head against a brick wall for a few hours trying to get this working and havent gotten anywhere. what i have is two shapes roughly [ and ] i want them to move around together using the left stick without rotating or moving diagonaly only up down left and right there is a piston between them that should extend and seperate them with circle and bring them together with square so far the best ive been able to do is make it move left and right (poorly sometimes it would move when i moved the stick other times it wouldnt) but not up and down and i cant get the piston to work at all id settle for being able to do it with one button if thats the only way but i cant even figure that out so if anyone can help id appreciate it. (it is supposed to be able to lift sackboy and some sackbots over a wall and then release them on the other side and go back for another if anyone can think of a better way but the challenge is to catch the sackbots in it pleace keep that in mind) | 2011-01-21 06:54:00 Author: thavleifrim  Posts: 4 |
| ok i found out the control issues now i just need to be able to open and close the two shapes (i had the up down on the stick going to advanced mover on/of not up down so it only moved left and right when the tick war partialy tilted up or down) | 2011-01-21 07:13:00 Author: thavleifrim Posts: 4 |
| ok after much tinkering i solved the issue with the piston id somehow glued both pieces together without them touching so they could actualy move anywhere in regards to each other. hopefully il have the level up tommorow but for now im much to tired after spending so long on that. | 2011-01-21 07:37:00 Author: thavleifrim Posts: 4 |
