Layer glitch

Just wondering the compatibility of the Layer glitch with LBP2. I searched the forums and googled quite a bit but I couldn't find anything recent.

According to the MM guys at the World Record event if you have an LBP1 profile that has the 50 layer glitch materials in them they will continue to work in LBP2. If you only have an LBP2 profile they said you can't recreate the glitch.

Levels from LBP1 using the glitch are working just fine for me so I think it's fairly safe to assume they will be ok.

I can also tell you that you can still emit things to the back in LBP2 using the glitch and that it behaves the same as in LBP1.

Everyone can take a big sigh of relief.

You can use the 3D glitch tools that were available in LBP1 just fine in LBP2. You just can't recreate them in LBP2. If you preferred to use the 40 and 10 layer tools that comphermc & TheAdipose distributed, you won't be able to use them directly from your community prize popit, though. Mm changed community prizes so they could not be broken apart (in other words, you can't isolate the "4" block). The workaround is to open LBP1, place your tool into a blank level and backup the level to the hard drive. Go back into LPB1 and import that level into your moon. You'll then be able to capture the tool as an object and use it normally within LBP2.2011-01-21 14:19:00
