Like LBP1, LBP2 didnt seem to shock when I wanted to connect with buddies and it just takes forever. From entering their pod to joining levels, it feels like my TV has seen the loading screen bar flicker longer than my friends and I actually play a level. Ive timed out more than enough times because of loading screen fails, has any 1 else gotten this problem.. is there going to be a patch if so when?

i havent had any problems with it being slow to connect. mine was really fast, faster then lbp1. only problem i had is the earth in pod glitch and the loading bar glitch. loading bar glitch is easy to fix. turn off contrller

i have had the earth in pod glitch MEEEH Creepy anways Try going to the PS Menu whatever in game then exiting out of the ps menu whatever that apperently makes it load. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.

I have had issues to. Hopefully it will be fixed because it's so frustrating it makes me not wanna play with other people. And I love multiplayer.

What is your nat type, if you have type 3 you will have a terrible online experience.

As robotiod said, try change the NAT type. Maybe NAT 2. I think is NAT 2

Yeah, i've had the flickering of the 'Loading' screen when people join me. But remember, the game has only just come out, I'm sure over time Mm will fix/improve this (:

My NAT is 'Open' (or Type 2, however you like to say it) and I'm still experiencing this problem when I'm with friends. It's unbelievable how this got past QA, especially when this bug was IN THE LBP2 BETA!!! They fixed it in the Beta but somehow it's returned, the same with the Earth warping into your Pod, that too was in the BETA! Seriously Mm really need to revaluate their QA team. It's unacceptable to have these bugs, especially considering they were in the Beta.

The loading screen has nothing to do with your connection. It's a bug.

It's not the NAT. I have NAT 2 and broadband ethernet internet. There's an infinite loading bug where the loading bar keeps refilling when you try to play online with other players. The game is borked and it shocks me that it worked fine in the beta and now you can't even simply connect with other people in the final game. Ridiculous. Traffic is one thing when it comes to lag, but most people can't even connect to another player right now because of these bugs.

I agree. I've had the loading screen on my television probably longer than I've actually played LBP2. It's ridiculous. It makes me NOT want to play LBP2 because I'm tried of signing out and signing back in all the time. I hope this is a bug and they get it fixed, and soon.

I'm tired of repeatedly turing off and on my controller when a lvl starts and when we get back to the pod..... Some of the major bugs in the Beta could have been found with just a few minutes of gameplay, so it makes me wonder did they test the different Beta versions before they released them? Or what happened? :

Usually during the first launch week they don't really add new patches. So hopefully when everyone is settled, MM will start to work on it. I've also heard that something like this happened when LBP came out, and MM fixed it. So I'm going to be patient and see what MM does. I heard that you can also turn off your controller when the loading bar comes up. All you have to do is turn it off, wait a little bit until you come back, and then turn it on again. That's what I would do for now until they fix this.

something like this happened when LBP came out, and MM fixed it They released it November 18th I believe, and they didn't fix it until after Christmas break or something.

I really hope they patch this sooner rather than later as online multiplayer is virtually impossible for me at this point, which is kind of the whole point of LBP. I have to say this is honestly really disappointing as I know there's some great gaming to be done, but I just can't do it. All I want to do is play story mode with my buddy but every 2 minutes I'm getting the loading screen of doom. Guess we have to stick to local multiplayer for now.
