If there is already a thread on this I'm sure one of you helpful mods will merge it I was playing with Yaru and Morgana the other day and was experiencing some MAJOR loading problems. Apparently caused by loading my profile before the intro level (unsure). The symptoms are that when joining other players you get stuck in the loading screen. Physically your sackboy/girl has appeared in the pod but all you get to see is loading. I finally managed to fix the problem by turning off my controller for 6-8 seconds and then on again. But before then it was 1/2 an hour of frustration resetting the ps3 etc. When I became host to another player I loaded fine but they had the same issue. Possible patch action: If Mm could virtually turn off sackboy's connection to the (non-hoasting) player's controller during loading this may fix it. But as this is not my field of programming... I don't know. Mm need to get this sorted as soon as possible, because as bugs go this is a biggie.

It was a well documented issue prior to the 1.03 beta release. Shame it's in the full release at this point, but such is life.

It needs to be patched. There are many unsuspecting and quite miffed consumers out there that never knew of this bug. As it was known and well documented a release date patch should have been made available. Sorry Mm but some action needs to be taken now if it isn't already under way.

The loading bug has many frustrated and many threads have been posted about it. Never happens to host, but upon trying to join it does. I posted a thread mentioning how this load issue permanently made some story prizes not possible to get because the load issue in multiplay from the nearby CP (it happens when you turn on extra controller) caused me to enter load screen as I collected them and the game is confused and shows empty bubbles but reads I never collected them and I dont have them and when i go back for them bubbles are empty since I had already collected. A lot of friends on my friends list stopped playing LBP2 because of it. I hope it's patched soon and when it is patched I hope I can get those 3 prizes again which seems unlikely since the load thing seemed to have glitched my profile as it confusingly shows I never got collected them when I did, but then they're gone and empty bubbles in place and I got nothing, or MM send them to me, lol.

I did a little search to see if anyone has posted a thread about this and i found non.. so please correct me if i am wrong. Every time i join a friend i get millions of loading screens, Its as if they are having spasm attacks! The only way i stop them is by turning off my controller, but sometimes even that method doesn't work. I posted this here so that Mm could be able to see that there is a problem and fix it because it is starting to become a bit ridiculous... Please say if your having the same problems...

Same thing here, too. All my friends whom were playing LBP2 (about 30), had trouble joining eachother because of that **** loading screen. It seems to be related to player distance too - the closer two people are in the world, the less loading screens they will get. People, if you are affected by this (and I expect everyone to be affected by it), please post here and optionally, also mail or twitter-message MediaMolecule. This bug was in the beta too, and all it needed to be fixed was a little setting to be set differently in the server - the game did not have to be patched. Please Media Molecule, fix this nasty bug!

Does anyone else have problems loading story levels, even without multiplayer? Sometimes when I try and load a story level I get trapped in a permanent loading screen that will only go away when I quit game. Also I'm having the same problem as everyone else with playing online. Considering this game was delayed a couple of months I'm disappointed that these problems are still in the game -_-
