Lets Work Togeather !!!!

Hi Everyone,

I am putting this out there as an invitation to join me in creating a team of "capable" creators willing to work togeather to make the best levels possible and have fun bringing our imaginations to life. I am hoping to start off with at least 4 ppl all who offer/bring different strengths to the table. I for one admit that I am not the best at bringing great detail to levels but,... I make up for it behind the scenes with intricate mechanics. If anyone is interested please message me on PSN and let me know your skill level and strengths and hopefully we can start getting great ideas flowing.

luckily, my weak link is intricate mechanics. I can make simple enemies, and with the help of mechanical know-how some pretty advanced bosses. I can also make some pretty detailed objects using the corner editing tool, and I have a lot of experience (although I rarely released my levels) I have other strengths as well, including sackbot programming, and topdown games, so just tell me how to officially join, or just friend me on psn, Ignition2462011-01-21 02:45:00

Sounds great Ignition246 ill message u on psn ASAP. LOL I too suffer from lack of published lvls only because I found making amazing things work more exciting than making whole lvls.. hence the idea for starting a team to build the parts were good at and accually finish lvls lol....

This seems like a great idea in that we could all learm from eachothers experiance.. I have some strength in detail, and making cool mechanics. Im also just getting the hang of the music sequencer and the other "powerups". I actualy just make a quick music level featuring my new techno song. Would you give it a listen? I basically said I'd love to help in anyway I can. I'm not all that 'great' at anything, but I don't think I'm two bad at anything either if I set my mind to it... (Oh and I am a creative type of person maybe I could help with story or something too?)

I agree with a hub but first we should just get togeather (hopefully u guys have headsets) and we can talk about what we want to do and where we want to go. I have have tones of Ideas as Im sure u all do so tonight we will get cracking

that was my bad I posted the same thing in 2 different areas but I got u down none the less.. ll be sending u a psn friend message in roughly an hr and a half. then we will get started on planning

I cant wait to get started and I know that we are going to start with only a few ppl but ill encourage all of you to help recruit as well once we settle on out goal and how ambitious our projects will be. well its not an absolute must so we can work around it, but it just helps with easyer and faster communication (if u have a ps eye that works 2) but at the end of the day Typing is fine 2

I still think we should just create a generic hub with maybe different areas corresppnding to a series of levels, a minigame plaza, stuff like that. It would be the main level to access all levels created by this team, allowing tons of levels to be accessed easily in one place by a multitude of people. Lets decide on a theme for the hub though. My only idea for it so far is that there should be a small plaza or courtyard with minigame links in the middle of the level.2011-01-22 02:35:00

I really like that idea each portal in the plaza leading to a differnt "world" per say, it will be like the old Mario 64 where u jump into the paintings and are transported to different lvls

I say we do something involving time travel. It allows us to tackle multiple visual styles and different game play options.

For example a medieval jousting mini game or something? A medieval dungeon crawler beat 'em up? A high tech futuristic spy platforming level, a space setting. You know that types of stuff.

I did something like that once. It was a level series centered around an archeologist (player) that accidentally released an ancient mummy ghost while inside a pyramid. U got sucked into a time rift and ended up in the hub via level key. From the hub you could access every level in the series, and get a special prize if you collected certain food stickers and gave them to the chef. There were 4 layers of dissolve material, each connected to a sticker switch. At the end of every level, u get a key sticker, to use in the hub to get to the final mummy boss fight.
