PSP Cutscene Tutorial

LEVEL COMPLETION PROGRESS: Cancelled EDIT: So, Ive been experiancing a lot of currupt and crashing issues with this level, and am deciding to just release a level backup (70% of full level) to you all. It should be enough however to understand. I will be making a brief text tutorial on here soon Have you ever gotten that envious urge when you see those awesome cutscenes like in LBP2? Well, Now you can make your own on PSP! The soon to be text-based tutorial will be accompanied by an easy to follow level tutorial (in production; 55% complete), and a recording of the level to be published here. This is also compatible on the PS3 too. Here's an example of one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3Erx9lFJfE Some of you might have seen this thread in the Ideas and Projects forum, I decided to not procrastinate this time and made the actual thread for it ahead of time. | 2011-01-21 00:55:00 Author: Ricky-III Posts: 732 |
It actually isn't hard to do this but it is nice you are letting the more unexperienced pla yers know how to do it. it just involves teh invisble material glitch and an invisble magic mouth that dosn't say anything other then 1 little symbol(in the case of your video) and pistons. oh and you have to set the mouth to do a cut thing that stops you from moving and zooms in on the mouth | 2011-07-13 01:29:00 Author: Unknown User |
yep. You just set a timer and perma switch to the pistons too. Unfortunately I have to many level crash and corrupt issues with the level and am canceling it. I think im just gonna ad a text tutorial and release one of the level backups (70% done). | 2011-07-13 01:39:00 Author: Ricky-III Posts: 732 |

Magic mouths can be added in as well and it actually "cuts" to the next scene instead of panning slowly. Yours gives a nice effect though that I might wanna try out. Great job! | 2011-07-14 17:14:00 Author: WoodburyRaider Posts: 1651 |
Thanks, I also thought of the way to change the angle, but a lot of the time for me it waits until it goes back to the normal camera before activating the next magic mouth, so in other words it doesnt come out right when I do it.Good job pulling it off. | 2011-07-15 01:57:00 Author: Ricky-III Posts: 732 |

Thanks man. I'm showing it off in my next level. It gets tricky when you try to do more than one camera switch, but it's still possible. | 2011-07-15 15:04:00 Author: WoodburyRaider Posts: 1651 |
