Hello, new to the site, and for my first post, I have a quick question. Before being able to play LBP 2, I had to delete my LBP 1 profile, losing everything I had originally acquired. Afterwards, I started LBP 2 up, importing a fresh profile from LBP 1 made a few minutes beforehand. For my question, would it still be possible for me to transfer costumes from LBP 1 to LBP 2, even after creating a new profile on LBP 2, if I decided to go back and obtain them again? I believe I noticed under settings that it is possible to transfer objects from LBP 1, even entire profiles, but unsure if just specific costume pieces and/or costumes are transferable. Any answer to my question would be greatly appreciated.

Everything that you collect in lbp1 should be transfered, every time you load up the game you get a prompt to transfer objects over as long you create a backup of lbp1. Thats how it worked in the beta. The full should work the same.

Thank you for responding If what you say is true, I'll attempt to collect some attire in LBP 1 and see if it gets transferred to LBP 2. Will post about the results soon.
