Haha yup just thought I'd test it out with one of those spam threads but I'm gonna change it into some sorta what's your least favorite level thread...(giggles thinking of valmossoi's thread)

Oooooon topic...

Hardest? Definitely High on Rugs, took me ages to ace.
Inspiration...dunno, I liked the Dreamtime level a lot though.
Best characters - well Alpine run had the most, but they annoyed me. I loved the dragon in the Orient.

For myself I'd say the hardest to ace would be the one in Tinsel Town with the space ships at the very beginning that you have to stay in the "shot" for a certain amount of time to move on (can't remember the name).

As for the characters I'd have to completely agree with you in that the Alpine characters were annoying, although the dog was pretty cool always waggin his tail. The dragon was pretty sweet too

you know you dont have to stay in the shot, all you have to do is fly to the upper right hand corner as fast as you can and right before you go as far as the chain as the jetpack lets you go press the o button and you'll jump over the buildings that the ufo is about to bomb.

do turbo pack levels count as story mode levels?

I had no idea you could do that I'll try it out! I think that the story mode levels include just the ones that came with the game.

The most inspiring was definitely The Orient, in my opinion. Loved the dragon sequences.2011-01-22 10:01:00

EDIT: Nevermind someone beat me to it lol.
I don't know if you're actually saying that the staying in the shot part is hard or just using it to reference the level, but that part is actually really easy; if you hold A to go fast with the jetback and then cancel the jetpack in the air, you can gain enough momentum to clear the barrier without doing the camera thingy.

The rest of the level is still difficult though; took me like 15 tries to do the rotating platform/UFO part (I think that's the same level).

I agree with you on the characters though.

Yeah I was just using it to explain the level but that'll help me when I do try to ace it! Those rotating UFO's are such a hassle haha.

Finish me start not allowed with if I did, it wasn't me. My cousin had this account but gave it to me, because she knows I don't like giving visible name and rubbish and she is getting married etc...

I am working on saving at least $40,000 dollars in the 2 years. $20,000 dollars a year. I impecuniousness to be able to catch into harvard and settle as a remedy for it so I barely trouble to concern upon living expenses not school.

So... That said. There isn't much about me...

Probably not. Anyway, my fault we are going off topic.

Which sort of 'mini' levels do you like? (You know, the bonus ones that are not survival?) I think Off Piste is clever, but Ladderal Thinking was good.

Good question I'll add it to the OP. I personally liked the one with the icey slide that you have to jump layers to get through the gates and dodge icicles in. (I never know the names of the levels lol)

Yeah, I hated that first Tinsel Town. Still haven't aced it. If I may say, I think that the mini game where you run on the beach ball was pretty hard.2011-03-19 02:21:00

For sure! That level was such a pain but one of my favorites now that I think about it. I loved how challenging it was, I just hated the fact that the whole time it made me think "Come on now, this is an E for Everyone game, 1st graders are beating it!"

Were the hardest for you? Stitch Gordon. *#$@ loose-bolted UFOs swingin' around all willy-nilly, lousing up my platforming.
Inspired you? Pretty much Tinsel Town in its entirety.
Have the best characters? I kind of like the Hans family.
Have the best theme? ... hmm... Um... uh.... Outback, I guess.
Are the best mini/survival challenges? Roque n Roller has no right being as much fun as it is. IT'S KILLER CHEESE, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Also, Double Dragons.

The Hardest level I have to say is The Sewn Identity, I always die at the part where you have to drag the circle along the line whilst avoiding the lasers. Haven't Aced it to this day. The level that most inspired me was probably Eggstraction cos it made me realise I could create complex puzzles. Best characters are the ones in Down Under, like the koala, kangaroo, tortoise, frogs, Bruce, The Mystic obviously, and I think I'm forgetting one. Best theme is definatly Tinsel Town. And best survival challenge is Leap of Faith.2011-12-13 18:01:00

I realize this thread was necro-posted, but since it's here, I wanna answer anyway.

The hardest Story Mode levels for me were Stitch Gordon, The Sewn Identity, and Rugs and Kisses. Trying to ace them was driving me nuts!

The Story Mode levels that inspired me would probably be most of the Orient and Bazaar levels. They brought in some elements that made them more than just a platformer, and I really enjoyed that.

I can't really decide which Story Mode levels have the best characters. >.>

For best theme, I'd probably go with The Orient and The Bazaar again. I just love their style.

I can't really decide on the mini/survival challenges either. I'm not really a fan of them, and trying to ace them of them was also a wreck on the nerves.

Heh... you can't ace a survival challenge because it's about making highscores till you die. So this is where you must die! :kz:

I know, but they were asking about those and mini games together, and there were some you could ace. Hence the Ace pins I eventually got on Ladderal Thinking, Out Foxed, Sackar Rally, Off Piste, I Race Dead People, Leap of Faith, Feeling Hot, Golissimo, and Hopping Mad.

1. A tie between "Frying Saucers" (very long, hard part at the end ) and "Rugs and Kisses".
2. Probably "Eggstraction" (a puzzle for once, plus so much integration of both layers).
3. No doubt "Opening Fright" (Big Ron won it all for me).
4. All the levels from "The Bazaar" (I love Indian-themed levels).
5. "Stamp Collector".
