Music Sequencer Interactability

Archive: 6 posts

Sorry if this has already been answered. I searched for it, but couldn't find anything on the subject.

Ok, so I've been messing around with the Music Sequencer for about an hour now, and I wanted to try to see if I could make a switch interact with one of the instruments or lines, like in the Music Sequencer featurette at 0:51 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgi7YIxLq88&t=0m51s), but I couldn't get it to work no matter what I tried.

Does anyone here know how to do it?

Not that I've managed to play with this feature yet, but I don't think it's possible to connect wires to instruments - I dunno if you have to split the music sequencer into multiple tracks, and then either copy it and change the volume sliders on the second one and switch between them, or maybe use multiple inputs on the side to control the different tracks?? Tell me what you find out, I haven't got LBP2 yet 2011-01-20 21:19:00

I've been messing around some more, and I still haven't found out if it's possible. :/2011-01-22 14:25:00

I found that you can add some logic stuff into Music Sequencers such as Batteries and Sequencers. Not sure if that's the proper way to do it, but it works.

EDIT: Whoops, I thought you were making the music interact with the switches, but I misread your statement. *facepalms self*

I've been searching for a way to do this as well. I want to have a switch in my Pachelbel's Canon level (http://lbp.me/v/wz08mw) to turn the harpsichord accompaniment (and for that matter, each track) on and off.2011-01-26 13:56:00

everything I've tried (mostly sequencers in sequencers) creates a huge gap in the music, basically rendering it useless.2011-01-26 19:55:00
