Adaptively Clothing Sackbots?

LBP2 isn't out in the UK yet, so I don't know if this is included in the game or not, but I figured I'd mention it anyway. If it isn't already implemented, I think it'd be cool to include an option for a Sackbot to use the costume currently being worn by whoever happens to be playing the level. For instance, if you're just using Sackbots with Direct Control Seats to change the jumping physics for a level, but you still want players to be able to play as their own Sackperson, it'd be cool to have a setting for a level that lets players apply their costume to the Sackbot when they start controlling it. This is an option, and you can actually make the Sackbot use any player's costume (P1, 2, 3 or 4). In fact, they don't even need to be in control of the Sackbot, and, if the player changes their costume, so too will the Sackbot! | 2011-01-20 18:23:00 Author: alexbull_uk Posts: 1287 |

I love the fact that, once selected, it will remain... Eg: set it to P1's costume, then change the costume pieces to different pants and torso - and the Sackbot will take the players Head/Hair/Skin pieces, whilst applying the Torso/Leg sections... | 2011-01-20 19:03:00 Author: Nurolight Posts: 918 |
At first I was just thinking of the potential for Directly-Controlled (Or controllinated, I guess) sackbots to resemble the players that are piloting them. But now that I know that you can also set their costumes to resemble players' Sackbots regardless of whether or not they're being controlled, this has so much more potential: -Short movies where the player's Sackperson is the star -A new take on "Kill your friends", where each player takes a sackbot dressed up as another player's sackperson, and wreaks havoc. -Other things I haven't even thought of yet. One thing I wish they had though. That if you want people to have an editable character in the lvl you have to capture and emitt every single combination of clothing on a sackbot so you can't have that may costume pieces. I wish there was a cotume changer setting on a sackbot or an extra optin in the behavior changer chip. XD Yup, it's a great feature, and can give some awesome effects. I loved toying with it in the beta (I'm also in UK, so I don't have the game yet either ) One thing I wish they had though.
