Alright, this has been bugging me for a while now, in fact, im in one right now, whenever I play a level with my friends, I always get this nasty screen just before the level loads, and it stays there for at least 10 minutes, i've been waiting for at least 20 now, so, has anyone else been experiencing this problem?

Yes I've seen it quite a bit. Hoping there will be a patch to fix it. Seems this is how LBP2 deals with lag and loading delays.

I've aced and completed most of story mode this morning and have had to reluctantly put down the game since then because of this. I call it the Blue Screen of Loadeath.

I have to say, everythings perfect in LBP2 and its exactly what I wanted, except for the Loading problems and the Nasty glitch where an oversized craftworld spawns in your pod. Anyways I'm sure they'll fix it! Mm never lets us down! They love us! Well some of us..

There's a temp to fix this in the meantime. You turn off your controller when it pops up, and it should load. Then you just turn it on.

controller trick doesn't work At least not yet. I've tried it through a few loading screen bugs but no luck. I hope this is fixed soon because multiplayer is 90% of the game...for me. The only reason I keep playing is all the online features.

All of my friends that I've played with are suffering from this same bug, but I haven't even received it once in the 12+ hours I've been playing LBP2. Turning off the controller and turning it back on again seems to work for them, though.

I have also been bothered quite a bit by this. Sadly for me, the controller trick have yet to show any effect Maybe its because I'm playing with friends on the other side of the planet (AUS vs EU), but right now there is a handful of player with whom I just cannot play LBP2 online, due to an everlasting wall of black loading screens... I'm still kinda baffled why this, the "Craft Earth craching into pod glitch" and the non-random Randomiser have not been fixed between beta 1.02 and launch? It was discovered and reported so long ago...

Hmmm, I can tell this is going to cause me to rage quiet a bit when me and my friends get the game tomorrow... I remember when I was super excited for FIFA 11 and the online clubs was glitched for a few MONTHS! Apart from LBP1 (which I came into late anyway) this is my first PSN game. What are PSN games like with patches? Is it likely to be fixed over the next few days or is this going to be around a while? :/

It will most likely linger for a bit but im sure a patch for it is in the works. Remember people... patience is a virtue!

Aye. Patience is a virtue, but to my understanding the loading bug was an issue in the beta. What's the purpose of a beta if reported errors won't get fixed before the release? I feel like the gaming industry is shooting sky-high, but the developers can't keep up. Not saying Mm, but all developers. DICE, Viseral, Treyarch, Infinity ward, Bethesda, Obsidian, I could keep going, but I just wanted to make a point that I'm not pointing at anyone specifically, just developers in general. There now that I've vented I can't wait to be able to get online and play LBP with friends.
