Favorite Music?
Archive: 62 posts
The LBP series is known for it's phenomenal soundtrack and LBP2 is no exception. What's your favorite music from the game? Mine is the Factory of a Better Tomorrow music and Victoria's Lab music. Both are so catchy and awesome. The Eve's Asylum music is pretty awesome, too. | 2011-01-20 00:18:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
Ghosts by Ladytron. =] Oh, and all music in Eve's Asylum. | 2011-01-20 00:19:00 Author: Ricano Posts: 434 |

I think the Hideout's Interactive Theme is my favorite. It reminds me of some Zelda music (most notably the music from Wind Waker). Not sure why, but it does. I don't like Eve's and Victoria's too much because of the vocals. Eve's is awesome without it though. Victoria's is pretty alright without the vocals too. | 2011-01-20 03:11:00 Author: AeroForce22 Posts: 392 |

I like the Disco ''Something'' (I put something 'cause I don't remember the correct name). The same that was in Leonardo's hideouts third level. (Introduction level doesn't count.). | 2011-01-20 06:10:00 Author: FreeAim Posts: 2462 |
I'm really liking Victoria's Int Music right now. | 2011-01-20 07:23:00 Author: maddoggnick96 Posts: 272 |
I know why the Hideout's Interactive song reminds me of Wind Waker: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dqiJx7XRmg&feature=related The beat is almost the same, and the brass section in both songs are similar. | 2011-01-20 18:25:00 Author: AeroForce22 Posts: 392 |
I've been in love with this song ever since the "endless fun" trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5ud9AvqONQ | 2011-01-20 18:32:00 Author: napero7 Posts: 1653 |
All of it! But more specifically, I liked What Are You Waiting For by My Cheap Little Dictaphone, and Ghosts by Ladytron the most. But honestly, I absolutely love all of the rest of the music as well. Except for the creepy circus music from the Factory of a Better Tomorrow. | 2011-01-21 00:35:00 Author: TheZimInvader Posts: 3149 |

All the interactive musics are great! I love them! Apart from that my favourite would be MCLD's What are you waiting for, ladytron's Ghosts, Truby trio's a Go Go, Royksopp's Vision one...! | 2011-01-21 01:38:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

Planetarium and What Are You Waiting For are looking to be top contenders in my list... Then again, I've yet to play the game <_< | 2011-01-21 02:24:00 Author: Astrosimi Posts: 2046 |
Disco Divertimento? Disco Smishco I like- Nightwish: Whoever Brings the Night Eve's Asylum Int. Victoria's Lab Int. Very much extravagant, I love the music. | 2011-01-21 04:04:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
Fifth of Beethoven, you just cant get a better track when using a grappling hook and bounce pads, it's just not possible. | 2011-01-21 04:20:00 Author: Merc Posts: 2135 |
The music in this game is amazing. Its all more like something I would hear in a movie or perhaps on the radio. LBP1's music was decent, but it was all very situational and repetitive. What Are You Waiting For is probably my favorite. It's really lively and puts me in a good mood. It almost sounds like Wolf Link's OoT howls at parts. | 2011-01-21 07:29:00 Author: RottenAvocado Posts: 319 |
No love for SleepyHead? It's like Atlas. You can't understand lick of it, but iy's awesome anyway. | 2011-01-21 07:36:00 Author: IheartLBP9999 Posts: 40 |
No love for SleepyHead? It's like Atlas. You can't understand lick of it, but iy's awesome anyway. Sleepyhead's good, but I don't think it compares to the rest of the new tracks. | 2011-01-22 00:27:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
Infotain Me by Ochre my gosh I love it, it sends me on a trip of getting inspired...*Back to earth* I also love the one that plays when you inside ummm omg I forgot >_____< ok the Last Level in Eves Asylum your inside that guy, the music that plays there is amazing I love it, Im making a level right now with that music XD. | 2011-01-22 16:10:00 Author: Bloo_boy Posts: 1019 |
I like a lot of music, problem is I don't have the game yet so I don't know what they're called >_< but I'll try to remember, there's the song that plays in Victoria's gardens, The Endless Fun trailer music, the song from either the third or fourth level, and probably a bunch of other songs I either can`t remember or haven`t heard yet. It would be awesome if somebody took all the music from LBP2, recorded it then posted the videos on a thread. | 2011-01-22 16:21:00 Author: daddy_doodle Posts: 199 |
No love for SleepyHead? It's like Atlas. You can't understand lick of it, but iy's awesome anyway. I do like the song, but I couldn't see a situation in a level in which I would use it. I can't seem to find a place it would fit. | 2011-01-22 16:25:00 Author: FlipMeister Posts: 631 |
Sleepyhead by passion pit. I even got it on my iPod. I memorised every word in the lyrical version. | 2011-01-22 17:07:00 Author: .jamo Posts: 172 |
My favourite so far is the one (that I don't know the name of) that plays in the Davinci's bounce pad survival challenge level (: | 2011-01-22 17:16:00 Author: Matimoo Posts: 1027 |
Hmm..all of the music is amazing! But if it comes down to it, my favorites would be What Are You Waiting For, Finale, and the DaVinci Tutorial theme (I don't know why, but I just love that tune! ). | 2011-01-22 17:25:00 Author: crazymario Posts: 657 |
DUDE! Me and my brothers both think so too! It sounds just like the pirate music from that game. So Hideout theme and "What are you waiting for" (I forgot who it's by). Those songs are the b0mb. | 2011-01-22 18:08:00 Author: googleit36 Posts: 50 |

What ARE the lyrics in Sleepyhead? Something about peas in your corn? | 2011-01-25 16:19:00 Author: Fumo161 Posts: 210 |
That I've got so far, Whoever Brings The Night, though I'm not that far into the story. I was also suprised at how well Victoria's Music fit the boss battle. | 2011-01-25 17:12:00 Author: kirbyman62 Posts: 1893 |
Vision One - Royksopp, New Family -Plaid, Avalonia Int, FoaBT Int... *goes on to name all the new songs* Oh... do I need to be more specific? D: | 2011-01-25 17:29:00 Author: GreyMRP Posts: 588 |

Definately What Are You Waiting For by MLCD | 2011-01-25 17:58:00 Author: SPONGMONKEY56 Posts: 209 |
So far, I like Sleepyhead and A Fifth of Beethoven, but I haven't really given a good listen to all of the songs yet. When I'm actually playing the only times I especially notice the background music is when it's missing or unfitting. | 2011-01-25 18:27:00 Author: Teh Chrisizard Posts: 7 |
Factory of a better tommorow. Sorrow full,but also catchy! | 2011-01-25 22:55:00 Author: Nitranon77 Posts: 127 |
What ARE the lyrics in Sleepyhead? Something about peas in your corn? Please unicorn, eat taco's with meeeeeee! | 2011-01-26 06:15:00 Author: Mr_T-Shirt Posts: 1477 |
I'm loving the music so far. A big step from LBP. I don't know the names since I haven't entered the create moon yet, and I have played with the volume low since I stayed up till late. Loved the idea that they used a Nightwish's song and something else that I heard lot metal-ish. Finally. | 2011-01-26 06:55:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
I can't get enough of the Eve's Asylum int music. It's hands down my favourite track in the game. What Are You Waiting For, Infotain Me, Ghosts and Disco Divertimento are also near the top of my list. | 2011-01-27 00:08:00 Author: ACR Posts: 15 |
Rock Your Body Rock FTW! | 2011-01-27 15:55:00 Author: Pontihog Posts: 22 |
Well I understood the most of "Atlas". ..Well, after looking at lyrics.. But my favorite music isn't broad casted in LBP2 but, it was however included in the "Adventure Trailer" (youtube' it). It's like a great mix between LittleBigPlanet and Scott Pilgrim vs. The world. Can't get any better than those two combined.. That and sleepy head. Gaelic is pretty cool, but I recommend that everyone searches "Or? mo bhaidin by Mary o'hara". Sleepyhead got the sample (those random, awesome and slightly crazy noices in the beginning that sounds like tacos and corners) from that one. Neeeeaaat. Oh, **** I mean this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kc9wOT_x2ng&feature=channel EDIT: Saw some posts up here about the lyrics of Sleepyhead by Passion pit. The words are in Gaelic (a traditional irish language). So yeah, you don't understand most of it. But it is something like "or? mo churaich?n o or? mo bhaid?n or? mo churaich?n o or? mo bhaid?n" Note; The Gaelic words aren't pronounced as they are spelled, so it's a bit tricky to sing if you don't speak the specific language fluently. | 2011-01-27 16:14:00 Author: AbdiHMA Posts: 86 |
Disregard all posts above, because Whoever Brings The Night is the best song in the entire series. It's Nightwish people! Their lead singer is trained in opera! METAL OPERA! Shame it's a mere instrumental. :B | 2011-01-27 17:47:00 Author: SLS10 Posts: 1129 |
Oh, I love What Are You Waiting For, Eve's Assylum (with just the strings and harp), Vision One and Whoever Brings The Night! | 2011-01-27 17:51:00 Author: Unknown User |

Sleepyhead by passion pit. I even got it on my iPod. I memorised every word in the lyrical version. Went on a school trip yesterday and spent almost the whole coach trip there and back listening to that. I wish they'd kept the lyrics in on LBP2 though. | 2011-01-28 08:12:00 Author: kirbyman62 Posts: 1893 |
Passion Put and MLCD are two obvious choices and both are sweet tunes. I also really like this quirky BGM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L81pxW3LXvM Nightwish is pretty awesome too, and a great fit as boss music. | 2011-01-28 09:58:00 Author: UmJammerSully Posts: 1097 |
IDK but I just bought this game and right now I'm in the tutorial stage.... and I must say, that 8 bit music sequencer arrangement is so nostalgic... I'm in pure ecstasy right now, with a stupid grin on my face. | 2011-01-29 05:36:00 Author: TheJollyRajah Posts: 466 |
