Well, my name is Stephen, I am about to begin playing LBP soon (first time) so I probably wont know much of anything. 17 years old, Senior in high school. :] Also was wondering should I play LBP1 before LBP2 or can I obtain everything from the first game in the second, thanks for any responses and I hope to get to meet a lot of people. (sorry if that questions been asked a lot)

Why hello there! Although I would recommend playing the first game as well whenever you have the time, I myself have to re-beat it with this new profile. However, you can learn the same basic things that the first one teaches you in this game, so it's not really necessary to play it, unless you're like me and want all the items from the first game on this one too. I'm also in high school, but as a Junior, and I'm pretty sure there are a lot of other people around the forums around our age group too. Anyways, see ya around the forums!

The history of LBP1 has nothing to do with the LBP2, do not need play the LBP1 to understand the LBP2. So the choice is yours, by the way, Welcome!

Welcome! Glad ya made it! The reason I would play LBP1 is to get all the prizes. If you are into creating, you will want all the stickers and materials, as well as some of the Mm objects. The cool part is every time you play LBP2 after playing a bit of LBP1 and gaining a prize, LBP2 asks if you would like to import those things. Have fun!
