Girl Troubles

Archive: 3 posts

Okay, so my girlfriend got me to come to some party I knew would be boring yesterday. It was a party for the town next to mine in a place my friend's parents own. What do you know, it was full of old people! Of course it was boring, and we basically ended up watching my friend and his girlfriend grope eachother. I mean, it was an awful waste of a Friday, but I didn't need to be a total **** about it, right?

Today, I realized what an *** I'd been, and I wanted to apologize, but she won't pick up her phone. What should I do!?! :hero:

I turn to you guys because, I wubz you.

Don't call her until she has time to recover, you don't want to talk to her now because she is probably poed at you, and things would just end in a fight. Give her time. After you've given her proper time, and she hasn't called you, call her and apologize, and promise never to do that again. Then stay true to your promise.

That's all I could think to do.

Code has the right idea. give her a little bit of time, but not too much. you most certainly don't want her to think you've abandoned her at the first sign of a fight. just remember when apologizing that it's important to take responsibility and admit fault. apologizing that goes something like "i'm sorry i upset you" doesn't really say you're sorry for your actions and believe you were wrong, it just says you wish the other person didn't get upset. but right now, give her time to be upset for a bit and talk to her when she's calmed down some. good luck man. let us know how it goes.2008-11-09 19:04:00
