So, this is me. The_Omni.
In this introduction I will focus on my experience with LBP.

It all started a happy April day 2010 when my friend asked me to come over to him. I accepted, knowing it would be lots of fun. When I came there, he wanted me to play this cool game called LittleBigPlanet. I had heard of this game, read some critics about it andsuch, but I didn't own a PS3 so I was like: Well, okay. Cool game. Too bad I i don't have PS3. Whatever. Didn't really care about it, you know. But as we played it... It was... I experienced that game hit so strongly and a place no game had ever hit me before.Never before has a game made that much impression on me. I was wordless. Why had I not tried this truly epic game before? I knew the answer. It was that next to none of my friends actually owned LBP so it was sort of "unknown" amongst us. I'm so sad I couldn't play this game earlier.

Shortly after the visit to my friend i bought LBP. But wait, I didn't own a PS3. Had to buy that too, then .
Then I started playing it for serious on my old, fat, outdated, low resolution screen with a built-in VHS player. Not ideal, but it worked, simply because LBP was too epic. The day I bought the game 27th of April 2010, I set myself a goal. This goal was to earn the "Play" trophy within 2 weeks of buying it. So I played it every day in two weeks. I saw how beautiful the story levels were while occasionally looking at community levels. Many items in the story mode must be obtained by multiple players. Fortunately, I had bought three more controllers for the PS3 (with the one coming with the PS3 itself, I now had four). So I did all the x2's, x3'sand x4's alone. All except for one. On the last Sunday of the two weeks, there was one x2 i couldn't do alone. It was in The Magicians emitter palace. It required both players to do something simultaneously and fast. I was persistent to complete my goal, and then I heard my brother who was walking into his room to go to bed, it was late, after all. I stopped and asked him if he could help me with something. He said yes, coming into my room. I gave him a PS3 control, and we did it. I got the last items. I went to bed that day with the sense of enormous accpomplishment. After I had gotten the "Play" trophy, I went on to get "Share" and played many epic levels online. Seeing all the stuff everyone was accomplishing, I was sort of demotivated, knowing I couldn't make levels like this myself. Now, LittleBigPlanet 2 is coming, and I have failed to achieve all the
trophies. I miss a few;
Party person
Crowd pleaser
Feel the Love
Create

As LBP2 is out, getting these is next to impossible.
But know that this will not stop me from getting better at creating epic stuff in LBP2.

Oh, this became long.

TL;DR: I got LBP quite late but will play LBP2 and since LBP is best played with other people, I needed a community. This community.		2011-01-19 10:39:00
