I imported my profile for costumes and stickers. now all my lbp1 levels are on the lbp2 server. i dont want them there. theyre just clutter that isnt even relevant to lbp2. i know now that if i delete lpb1 lvls from lbp2, they disappear from both games. i still want them on lbp1, but would MUCH rather prefer not to have them on lbp2. how do i get them off the lbp2 server while keeping them (with their played and hearted stats) on lbp1? i have almost 5000 hearts and dont just want to delete all my levels.

Otherwise, they're just hearts. Deleting them isn't going to make people hate you. If you're really unsure about it, then keep it. It's better to have it take up space than to delete it and regret it later. Also: You can publish over the levels. Meaning you can take a new level, and publish over your old LBP1 level, and it'll retain the hearts and plays.

(i have 16 lvls on lbp1 btw) i dont want to simply delete them as u first suggested because then they wont be there anymore. i dont care if ppl care whether theyre there or not. i put work into them and would prefer to keep them with the stats they earned. and i dont want to publish over them with lbp2 levels to "keep the stats", because its not the stats themselves i care about, and it wouldnt even be that level that earned them. i just want my lbp creations on lbp and my lbp2 creations on lbp2. if there really isnt any solution i guess ill just delete all my levels, put in lbp1 and republish them. theyll lose their stats but at least exist. this importing system mm used makes no sense :/

Just keep copies of your levels on your moon, I guess.

no, i was going to delete all levels, and republish them on lbp1. hell, the first thing i did after getting to my lbp2 pod was delete everything on my moon. <clutter

...oh, you meant lbp1 when u said "them on lbp2". wow thats pretty lame. i assumed lbp2 was a different game, not an expansion. sigh why would mm assume ppl want their lbp1 lvls to transfer over to lbp2?

i know its not an expansion in the technical sense. but ive been really looking forward to this game and starting fresh. i imported my profile cuz i figured i might want a costume piece for an outfit one day, and to get the pics ive collected and traded w ppl i play w often. importing my profile and getting all those creator pins that i hadnt even had the PLEASURE of earning yet (since i figured theyre lbp2 pins) bugged me a lot, and took the fresh start feeling away. then realizing i cant even remove my levels from lbp2 wout removing them from lbp1 was the nail in the fresh new feelings back. this game is treated like an expansion in many ways no matter wut the actual definition of expansion is. and it IS misleading. i know pins are just symbols and my old levels wont actually change anything i can do in lbp2, but i wanted to start fresh, and emotion and perspective is a big part of the gameplay experience. i know this forum isnt meant for discussing things like this tho so... alrighty then

I have exactly the same problem with my LBP1 levels being in LBP2. Two of my levels are not actually playable in LBP2 because of the situation with the lighting in the new game. When I saw all the levels on my earth in LBP2 I immediately locked the ones I knew couldn't be played and it was only by chance, I looked at LBP.me, that I found they were also locked in LBP1. I don't want them locked in LBP1 and I certainly don't want them played in 2, they look nothing like the originals. Can somebody explain, it would have to be in simple terms, how this problem can be overcome if indeed it can or is that it for my levels now, are they also up with the unicorns! Icey

Go to the level badge of the level you don't want to be playable in LBP2 -> press square (or triangle can't remember) -> Select LBP1 only

WHy not just lock them and hide them away at the bottom/ top of your craft earth? Its not like they're taking away from your 20 level limit in LP2 anyways, you got 20 spaces for LBP1 levels and 20 for LBP2 levels anyways. Besides, I think the servers wouldn't consider 16 levels clutter with abother 3MIL on it.

I did lock them but it locks them in both games and that's not what I wanted. Anyhew, Syroc I think I love you! I did exactly what you said and it works like a dream! I just feel a bit silly for not spotting that option myself! Icey
