What is it? I don't have the game yet (UK). But so far, what's your favourite level? | 2011-01-18 16:03:00 Author: alexbull_uk Posts: 1287 |
The level with the... err sackbots. | 2011-01-18 16:13:00 Author: Darkcloudrepeat Posts: 606 |
Surviving the Machine, i know by that name, i think is another name. | 2011-01-18 16:22:00 Author: Cauan-XV Posts: 491 |
I really like Currant Affairs. That poor bird at the beginning was cute. | 2011-01-19 00:22:00 Author: Number7Million Posts: 248 |
From what I've played, 'Final Test' is my favourite. Man, was that epic, and the music... :O | 2011-01-19 00:30:00 Author: Kog Posts: 2358 |
I like "hedge hopping" It is a "score challange" The gameplay with the bounce pads, the theme, and music (my favourite one so far!) make it so awsome. If you need a level, i like Eves levels. Regarding the createinater, gapling hook and other LBP2 fetures, it reminds me of LBP1 "The gardens" | 2011-01-19 01:17:00 Author: Unknown User |
i havent played it but i like the hedge hopping survival lvl. i saw it on youtube. | 2011-01-19 12:20:00 Author: Onii55 Posts: 153 |
I loooove the Waste Disposal level and the boss fight at the end of Victoria's Lab. It's amazing! | 2011-01-19 12:35:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
Final Test and Kling Klong are at the top o my list! I also liked Got the Hump. If I had to choose, I'd have to go with Kling Klong as my favorite though. It's not exactly groundbreaking gameplay, but it is awesome for reasons I have yet to figure out. | 2011-01-19 12:56:00 Author: Memodrix Posts: 879 |
I'm only done through the third world, but so far my favorite is "Death by Shockolate." I just love the style of Victoria's levels. | 2011-01-19 14:25:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |
I'm only done through the third world, but so far my favorite is "Death by Shockolate." I just love the style of Victoria's levels. Exactly the same here! Finished the Factory world, and so far my favorites are Victoria's one. Love the "Tim Burton" like style and music But really all the levels are great so far! | 2011-01-19 15:35:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the Avalon levels. I thought they would be sort of bland and boring, but once the Negativatron gets involved it turns epic. | 2011-01-19 15:42:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
I loved the one where you turned all the fire back into the tree. That one and the boss fight with the bee! The hard rock was so epic! | 2011-01-19 15:50:00 Author: QuAcKeRz12 Posts: 176 |
I dont know the name, but the first level in Victoria's place. All her levels are incredibly detailed & gorgeous. The 1st level is the train one, where u going from train kart to train kart to stop the negativitron. | 2011-01-19 16:08:00 Author: LittleBigMan Posts: 326 |
Flight of the bumblebees was really great | 2011-01-19 16:26:00 Author: JStormz Posts: 9 |
I really liked the shooting level - where you ride the camel looking thing and just shoot all the rocket and things coming at you - and, there are TONS of prize bubbled - like 80+ prize bubbles there. Probably the funnest level for me so far. | 2011-01-19 16:55:00 Author: CYMBOL Posts: 1230 |
DEATH BY SHOCK-O-LATE..that level is soooo much fun. Most of the grapple heavy levels rock. I also like the levels where u use the white blood cells to break through walls and kill baddies. All the levels are great though..I can honestly say that! | 2011-01-19 19:12:00 Author: Unknown User |
Is there a place where a Brit who doesn't have the game yet can see all these levels? | 2011-01-19 19:16:00 Author: FlipMeister Posts: 631 |
Is there a place where a Brit who doesn't have the game yet can see all these levels? Perhaps wait until you get the game? I haven't seen any footage of the story levels, all I've seen are the ones in the demo. Saving all the surprises up you see | 2011-01-19 19:26:00 Author: Radishlord Posts: 706 |
The one my friends and I had the most fun in was the one with the creatinator where it shoots out cup-cakes. We LOVED shooting it to mess the other person up during a jump or block a path, We were laughing so hard lol. | 2011-01-19 20:01:00 Author: Ghost Posts: 114 |
My favorite was...erhmm...You know, the one with Victoria's topiary garden. What's that one called? I like all of Victoria's levels the most, and Eve's levels as well. My least favorite area would probably be the Factory of a Better Tomorrow...I just didn't like the atmosphere that much. The fact that they didn't change Clive back doesn't really help. | 2011-01-19 20:39:00 Author: TheZimInvader Posts: 3149 |
Is there a place where a Brit who doesn't have the game yet can see all these levels? Im just gonna let it be a surprise | 2011-01-19 21:05:00 Author: Alternative_sack Posts: 409 |
Clive's voice is pretty bad, too. I couldn't stand the opening cutscene. | 2011-01-19 21:17:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
Clive's voice is pretty bad, too. I couldn't stand the opening cutscene. Gotta agree with you there. I had to put the subtitles on because I couldn't understand a word he was saying. I liked Old Clive's voice better. :/ | 2011-01-19 21:21:00 Author: TheZimInvader Posts: 3149 |
My favorite level(s) were in Eve's Asylum. They were just so beautiful and the atmosphere was kept extremely well with lighting and music and oh it was just so awesome! The end of the section (the "boss") was my favorite part however. It was just so...awesome. The other levels were great as well. I don't think I played an entire level in the game that I legitimately didn't like (sometimes I'll say I hate a level when I get frustrated with it, but that's never true. ) | 2011-01-20 01:42:00 Author: AeroForce22 Posts: 392 |
I made a video with a few of my favorites including Brainy Cakes, Kling Klong, Waste Disposal, and Full Metal Rabbit. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXggUIhWQ-E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXggUIhWQ-E | 2011-01-20 02:19:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
The specific name escapes me, but the one where you enter Higginbotham's body was my favorite. | 2011-01-20 02:41:00 Author: littlebigmeteor Posts: 396 |
I haven't even finished the story yet and my favorite by far is all the Avalonia levels. | 2011-01-20 03:32:00 Author: The-Unknown-Thief Posts: 49 |
Picked up my copy yesterday and made it to World 5, every level has me saying wow. The Cakeinator level is ingenious. Someone wrote in the comments that it reminded them of Alice in Wonderland and that is spot on. The level where you call Sackbots with "Lucy" had me smiling the whole way through, very cool and gave me a lot of ideas (actually, EVERY level is giving me a million create ideas lol). The last level I played before calling it a night was the Fireflies level. Navigating through the dark by the light of the flies was simply stunning. The second part of the level was cool too with some interesting platforming mechanics. LBP2 = Game of the Century | 2011-01-20 07:13:00 Author: OCK Posts: 1536 |
I havent gotten too far, but my favorite level so far would have to be the one with the name I cant think of that has the cakinator, where you shoot sticky treats all over the place to do various different things. So much fun! | 2011-01-20 13:44:00 Author: ATMLVE Posts: 1177 |
the second lvl of Victoria's world I forgot what it was called, but it's when her garden...err....I don't want to spoil it. | 2011-01-20 15:21:00 Author: Amigps Posts: 564 |
Patience is a Virtue, for sure. The platforming was spectacular, thy introduced you to the water cannon, and the LBP1 references were EPIC! | 2011-01-20 15:28:00 Author: nunsmasher Posts: 247 |
I like the one in Eve's Asylum that has LBP1 characters but they're like... psycho versions. King, Queen, Groundhogs, the Races guy, collector, Frida... That was so cool! | 2011-01-20 15:51:00 Author: jalr2d2 Posts: 256 |
My favorite is definitely "The Cakeinator" of Victoria's World. I love the incorporation of the sticky cakes out of the creatinator. | 2011-01-20 22:59:00 Author: Unknown User |
I'm hip on Currant Affairs. I love the Frankensteinesque, steampunk aesthetic. I also like the final level of Eve's asylum, where the boss battle takes place in Higgenbottom's body. It may just be me, but I love it when heroes go inside bodies. That old TV movie of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys where Kevin Sorbo gets swallowed by the sea creature and crushes its heart to death; the level in Devil May Cry 3 inside that demon; the boss battle inside the Emperor in Okami; that episode of Futurama where the parasites take over Fry's body; getting inside Gaia in God of War 3. Always awesome. | 2011-01-21 19:17:00 Author: Bercilak Posts: 117 |
It may just be me, but I love it when heroes go inside bodies. That's what she said. But yeah, that level in Okami was pretty cool. But there were two levels like that in Okami - The Emperor, and the sea dragon thingy! Wow, you musta really liked that game, then, huh? lol I liked that Higgenbotham level too, but it just seemed waaaaay too short. | 2011-01-21 19:27:00 Author: TheZimInvader Posts: 3149 |
I think the level with the cakeinator is my favourite. but I haven't finished yet so it could change, I just thought everything about that level was spot on and I saw so many new and unique ideas | 2011-01-21 20:56:00 Author: groble Posts: 223 |
Forgot about the sea dragon part . . . The part where you attacked that organ after unleashing a flood of purple stomach was awesome! You're right that the level was a little short, but it seems to me all the levels work primarily to show off what can be done with the create mode, and inspire us to see what we can do. | 2011-01-21 22:34:00 Author: Bercilak Posts: 117 |
I think all the story levels are really good but Eve's Asylum is my fav world. | 2011-01-21 23:01:00 Author: BasketSnake Posts: 2391 |
Due to spoilers in the level's name I shall put it below: Where in the world is Avalon Centrifuge - Shock troopers are awesome | 2011-01-21 23:47:00 Author: Jedi_1993 Posts: 1518 |
Victoria's levels have been absolutely stunning so far. Can't wait to see what the rest of the story has in store... | 2011-01-21 23:59:00 Author: TehUberZac Posts: 587 |
Hvant played them all yet but so far has to be any of Victorias...... I have to say I was abit dissapointed about Avalons though.... | 2011-01-22 14:04:00 Author: Unknown User |
That Fireflies levels...how it looks and how it works.. It made me wanna quit story and go create XD other than that, the First level's I loved them and the THe First level on Negativitrons world I loved that one, It feels like Megaman and coincidence my sack looks like a blue version mix of Vincent Valentien(FF7) and Megaman X. I felt like a friggin Super Hero playing that level XD. | 2011-01-22 16:05:00 Author: Bloo_boy Posts: 1019 |
A tie between the retro bee level and got the hump. | 2011-01-22 18:22:00 Author: googleit36 Posts: 50 |
I love the one where you climb the giant robot, on the surface of the negativitron. I also love the entire factory of a better tomorrow, that's my favourite theme for some reason. | 2011-01-22 18:30:00 Author: Radishlord Posts: 706 |
Every level in the game is my favorite! When i finished the story, it was soooooooooooo EPIC! !BEST GAME EVER! | 2011-01-22 20:17:00 Author: himoks Posts: 734 |
Just finished the story mode! My favs so far are the creatinator ones, the oens with the cake and the water. As I expected, I didn't like the driving/shooting sections that much, but that sonic style gerbil thing was interesting. Some levels blur together with the cutscenes/short length/level links.. Biggest let down were some of the blind jumps and poor cameras. | 2011-01-24 08:18:00 Author: midnight_heist Posts: 2513 |
Cakeinator level was one that stands out for me. I really enjoyed firing cakes at stuff | 2011-01-24 13:51:00 Author: OneEyedBanshee Posts: 1370 |
My top favorite would be Fireflies When You're Having Fun by Eve and Flight of the Bumblebees. Both great looking levels! | 2011-01-24 14:02:00 Author: Chump Posts: 1712 |
Did another video featuring my personal favorites from LBP2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aMn3Ev6PN8&feature=feedu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aMn3Ev6PN8&feature=feedu | 2011-01-26 03:32:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
My favorite levels in general were a tie between the Cosmos and Eve's Asylum, while my all time favorite level is most definitely 'Set the Controls for the Heart of the Negativatron!' I don't know why, but I just love that level! The Segway-esque area is so much fun! | 2011-01-26 03:39:00 Author: Super_Clone Posts: 849 |
my favorite is fowl play gotta luv them evil turkeys plus the music was the best part of the level it set the whole atmosphere | 2011-01-26 05:50:00 Author: Unknown User |
I got the game only yesterday and played it quite quickly. Got to half of Avalonia aceing almost every level. I must say that I'm loving race mini-games levels like Tower Of Whoops. | 2011-01-26 06:57:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
I've gone through 5 of the six worlds so far, and it's a mixed bag for me. The first three are all brilliant fun, loads of inventive gameplay ideas and cool visuals. Made me love LBP all over again. The Avalon stuff was disappointingly repetitive, I was expecting more depth to the official DCS stuff. The Eve levels aren't too bad, but bar the Fireflies alternate version, they don't come close to the pizazz of the first 3 curators. Hopefully the last world goes out on a high.... | 2011-01-26 21:41:00 Author: julesyjules Posts: 1156 |
