Game Stop Confirmation!

Archive: 13 posts

Yup, they just left an automated message confirming that my game will be in store tomorrow morning. Yessssssssss! This is especially exciting because of my inexcusable abscence from beta . I will probably lock myself in my Man Cave and enjoy newly set up CreateStation (42inHD, spare keyboard, and laptop) for the next week. But strangely enough I have a sense of sadness "leaving" the original LBP and moving onto LBP 2....almost the same feeling of getting a new car and leaving the old one behind. Lord only know how many hours tally up to complete weeks of racked up time just on my moon. Good bye LBP, and thank you for the good times. LBP->:star::star::star::star::star:<32011-01-17 23:05:00

Agreed.. not news or media. No offense, but as stated... this happens with all pre-orders. I got my call two days ago saying it's in... and it wasn't "thread-worthy" news then either. I know you're excited, but this post probably would have been best suited to a thread already started somewhere on the forum (I'm sure there are about 5 too many) about how excited everyone is, or what they will do within the first second (really?) they start playing the game.

I know we're all giddy as schoolgirls right now folks... but threads like these don't really contribute much to the forum. They are about as useful as "I got my beta key!" threads.

No offense intended... just saying.

Yep, Ashley from Gamestop called me today too. Her voice grates on my nerves normally, but I was so happy to hear her today.2011-01-17 23:41:00

I didnt get the call. And i wont be able to pick it up tomorrow, my dad got the call ( i hope ) and i really hope he has the money to run up there and get it this weekend.... so i dont have to wait till next weekend, and his next paycheck. That would be the WORST possible torture that the universe could put on me right now,... except maybe putting a huge flatscreen hd tv, a ps3, my best buddies, and lbp2 in a room with me, and saying NO! YOU CANNOT PLAY! i would prbbly kill myself if that happened. oh, and the locks on the doors are from the outside, and everything is made of mirrors, with my eyelids taped open... so i cannot escape it..... T.T i probably just jinxed myself.2011-01-18 00:13:00

Till i'm from Brazil (where haven't Gamestop (stupid country) know that GameStop send this to everyone who pre-ordered a game.

I hate reading people saying that will receive LBP2 tomorrow while I have to wait until 01/27.
