Just a thread where Beta testers* can assist by posting tutorials on otherwise unmentioned techniques... For example, to achieve a SackBot Playable Character, you must attach a Recieve DCS inside the SackBot, and a Transmit DCS somewhere else in the level. The sackbot thing works well - but doesn't always need a camera! You can hide layers by hovering your poppit cursor over a section/material, and pressing L2(?I think it's that button?) Hover the poppit cursor over the output of a controllinator. Thanks for the DCS tip, now the players will know how to drive my bots. There is a second way to drive a bot, instead of camera. Just put the transmitter dcseat on a 0% bright hologram (it's invisible in play mode), set the dcs to invisible and put a follower. add a key to the bot. now you can enter inside a bot. | 2011-01-23 05:28:00 Author: Unknown User |
