To me it seems like the Beta Vest is really just a construction working vest and that it should be available to everyone on the first week of LBP 2 being out. No I'm not jealous, I actually think beta testers should get something more valuable, and the the "Beta Vest" will only be out on the PSN store for special occasions. Because everyone has a hard hat in LBP, so why not give everyone a chance to buy the vest, because right now we have nothing to go with the hard hat; and the beta vest would go very good with it. Discuss

I don't think the Beta Vest will be universally available at any time in the future. If everyone had it, how would you be able to tell who got it from beta testing? It wouldn't be special anymore. The Beta Vest was made solely as a reward for beta testers, and I'm pretty darn sure it's going to stay that way.

Actually the hard hat, wellies and MGS Meryl pants make a good builder costume, add the beta vest and you have one safe construction worker!

I said beta testers would get something even better... Well, wouldn't you (and others) want also that "something even better" after a little while..? It would never end..lol The Beta vest is a cool costume part, but it's not like you're missing something incredible or "must have"... as you said it's just a construction working vest and it's kind of specific to the Beta purpose so....

i think releasing the beta vest to them masses kinda defeats the purpose of the beta vest. maybe they should release some kind of tool belt instead

I was pretty cheesed when I learned there was a vest but you could only get it with betas. I mean I have it now but it seems like it should have been given out in the story mode since there is a construction site story.

You do get something pretty cool other then the vest. You get to play an awesome game. I bet there are many out there that would have gladly givin up a vest to get there hands on a code.

Yea, I just wanted to play the beta. I didn't even know about a vest until I redeemed my code. The vest should remain exclusive to beta testers. It's a special thing that I got to take away from that awesome experience.

The vest code for this beta was on your invitation email along with the Beta code. So you got it up front. Last years OC beta/Water beta we had to wait several months to get sent a code.

actually I think the beta vest and construction hardhat don't go together very well. Maybe if you stickered the hat the appropriate yellow it would look better.

Something better than the beta vest... How about a full suit, with a gas mask and spray can? Maybe call it the 'Bug Blaster'. Incidentally, I'm pretty disappointed about the beta vest. If I could have joined the beta I would have.

BETA Vest should be allowed not only to BETA testers, Bug Blaster should e avsailabe not only to those who find bugs and help on other areas of BETA, 1-week shirt should be released any time, Astrronaut costume should not be released on the "LAUNCH' of every Mm game, but always, all rare items should be available all the time, making a rare item is sure great and worth having when everyone has one or has access to them, isn't it? Sarcasm aside, do keep in mind that there are quite a few LBP-related BETAS as of now, and I don't thinkthe BETAeees would see this as fair either, not to mention tracking and specifically giving each and every BETA tester the new item, altho not impossible, would surelly be annoying and time taking. Not to mention they still would have to make this "better" thing you speak of to begin with, and if the idea is so rejected by the community than they just drop it, then there goes work gone to waste, not to mention that if even you can't think or mention of what could this "better" thing be, can you really expect others to think the same?

I don't agree on releasing the beta vest, but LBP lacks a vest in general, so perhaps a variation should be released, and anyone that wants to look like a construction worker can just sticker it yellow.

The only reason i wanted to vest was because it went perfectly with the had hat and jeans. I don't think it should be released to everyone though that would defeat its purpose. your reasoning is kinda like saying everyone should get the crown because its perfect for my King/Queen costume.

I would like to see a construction outfit available for every player, but it should definitely be made distinct enough from the beta vest that people would be able to tell the two apart at a glance. Also, I don't think I ever got the hard hat in LBP1. D: I should go see if I can find it now, that'll give me something to pass the time until I get my copy of LBP2. XD

If you are a costume completest, then the fluro beta vest is a want. Having a uber neat construction Sackboy wearing it, with hard hat, jeans & gloves does look cool I've got a spare code for one I got with the LBP2 beta that hasn't been used somewhere . Please don't ask for it.....I'll just post later when I found it, first in get's it.
