I just had a go and what I played was awesomeeeeee!

I couldn't get past the part where you have to skip off the fire and grab the sponge...(I'm guessing that's what you have to do). I played it in LBP2 though, and I'm guessing the fire skip is less forgiving in it...as I just don't get a skip at all, instant death

I'll play get around to playing it in LBP1 soon!

I swore. A lot.

A really nicely designed level though. People who like a challenge will love it. Some of the platforms and obstacles were genius, but after dying for the 5,000,000th time, they lost their fun a little and became infuriating.I understand that's the point, but it was a little overwhelming sometimes y'know?

Needless to say, I had a blast playing it. :star::star::star::star::star: and <3'ed

I tried to complete it, I really did. Sadly though, this is as far as I got:

That's.. disturbing, since you have to skip-jump the fire like, 20 times in the level. They took that out?

Some magnificent gameplay like usual, love ballancing on the wheels and dodging the plasma, yeah there's a lot of dying but still. Great job, a brilliant fnale to one of my favorite series in Craftworld and some funny dialogue, especially at the end, LOL but I won't spoil it. :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3 When you get LBP2, please publish this again in there, because Ima have to start mentioning LBP2 levels only (until LBP3) and I soo wanna mentioned this level2011-01-16 23:03:00

It hasn't been took out totally, just tweaked so that it isn't the same as LBP1. I manage it at other sections but it just wouldn't do it at all at that part

I guess when I can play around with it in LBP2 I'll muck about with it until it works? I dunno

Sorry Cowboy. I really tired to love this one as much as I did the others, but this was just one step too far in my opinion. I seriously felt like quitting at several points, it was that frustrating. I think you could have done with a few more checkpoints inbetween some of the longer sections, having to dodge about 20 things in quick succession got a bit boring after the 200th time. Also, I didn't really like how plasma was being emitted from nowhere, some little turrets or something would have really helped so we can see where the danger is coming from, especially the ones which are triggered by proximity. You shouldn't have to die to realise there's danger (unless you have superhuman reflexes).

Other than that though, it was still a great level and an awesome end to the series. Great humour at the end, and it was nice to finally see two characters we've heard about for 7 levels! I also loved the intro.

So... you still get a heart from me, and 4 stars. I can't wait to see what you do with LBP2! Until then, I reckon a marathon playthrough of this whole series would be a nice last thing to do in LBP1...

I had a long bout of wrestling with myself about whether the nowhere-plasma was too much, and finally decided to leave the ones I found fair in. You'll be horrified to learn that there was a part in the first draft that was much, much, MUCH worse. That said, I'll consider turrets.

LOL - Brilliant end to a brilliant series Just finished it (2nd place!) and loved it. You have some of if not, the most tightly timed but fair platforming/plasma sections in LBP1 - love em. I was cruising along just fine, feeling oh so smug at my 4400 score until those darned blue electrified squares showed up. lol. There were two spots where you spit out a plasma ball I had no way to anticipate and despite myself I laughed as it fried me. I can see how people will be frustrated at that but I sort of took it as a, don't get to cocky warning. The drill sections were hard but looked awesome too. The trickiest bits for me were the room with the blue electirified squares where there's like a four step timing situation to work out. Must have stared at it a good five minutes before figuring out where and more importantly when to be where. Then you throw a fire jump after that before a checkpoint..... Good thing I made that in one try or I'd probably be less giggly right now than I am. The round platforms that rise in the fire section were cool and the hardest bit there was that long hallway with the plasma where you have to aniticpate the jump at the end. It's a bit blind but after three tries I managed it.

The end btw, is soooo worth the pain. You've pretty much nailed how this series had to end without taking itself seriously, and mocking the player a bit in the process. Just great!

5 stars, hearted and I'm going back in to boost up that measly 850 I put up on the board.

Well done CCH See ya in lbp2!

Awesome end to a long series of levels full of gameplay. I played this on 2 player and it was very fun to say the least. This one seems more of a thinking-platformer. Its one of those levels where u watch what happens and figure out a plan from there. I think the most we died in a section was like 8 to10 times and some we did on 1st try. This level isn't frustrating in my opinion. You just have to find the pattern. Ending was very funny. Was a joy playing the whole series. 5 star n <32011-01-17 00:35:00

I had the same problem as Jack, where the fire bounce didn't work the same, thus rendering the level unfinishable in LBP2. Too bad, really. 2011-01-17 01:43:00

Really fun platforming with funny dialogue as usual, but I didn't think this one was as hard as the previous and also the ending was rather lackluster. Still, it's a good level to end the series, though I would've liked some sort of boss fight but oh well. Gave it 5stars and heart.2011-01-17 03:07:00

Wow.... this one is HARD! Whew, I want to get a high score but I gotta rest for a bit.

The ONLY part that totally got me was the double-barrel-balance thingamajig. I died so many times on that one area it killed my score.

But, it was worth it to see the end of this series. Fantastic ending, by the way. It really wrapped up the story nicely and kept the King in character. 5 stars and a heart from me!

I would complain about some initially unfair areas, but what's the point? It's part of the personality - laughing while dying a gazillion times.

WOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!

Another level by you!

As an OH NO!!! THE PRINCESS!!! level should, this level stripped me to my core, rendering me a sobbing, useless blob.

Well, not really, but as with most of the others, I couldn't complete it.

Well done!

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was a nice just-in-time cap to the series.

Look forward to see what you'll do with LBP 2 =)

I love your "OH NO" series. My favourite series on LBP in fact.
And this one had some of the best and worst designed elements in the series.

I loved the x2 barrel roll thing, although it would be more fun if it was toned down.
Plus the blue squares part, and some of the fire/plasma sections had nice timing on them.

The biggest problem was the plasma shooting out from no where. wth dude.
It's like a rookie mistake. You need to indicate this to the player...I'm sure you know this, but not sure why you didn't.
If you have ever played Crash Bandicoot 2, in the future levels (in the last warp room) they have plasma/shrink rays that shoot when you step on certain places (like in your level). However they clearly mark the switches that activates the hazard!
They go out of their way to in fact, different colour, animation, unique sound, etc.
Those platforms/switches are consistant, unlike your level, where plasma is activated by random platforms.
I would suggest adding decorations to the activating platforms, or a sound, or anything really, to be more fair to the player.

Also, you should keep the plasma patterns consistant!
At the plasma/barrel bit, after I finally got the timing down (I just had to get up the barrels), and then the timing of the plasma changes for no reason?! Ugh.

I realise the square platforms that jut out of the ground (requiring the player to jump) is a part of the gameplay/visuals, but it got rather annoying when you fell down, got singed then rested on the platform. So the player has to turn around and kill themselves.
Death in those gaps/holes/craters should be instant.

Good jokes and thankfully we finally got to see the princess. I rated 4 stars.

So in summary I want to hug you then punch you in the face.

I just got past the section with all the plasma balls, then I had to go to dinner, and didn't play later as I felt a bit sick.
But I had put it again in my queue and will play it today hopefully
