Hey guys. Could you spare me a little advice. For LBP2, I heard that you can do the voice recording with a webcam. I have one of those eyecams for the ps2 and it works well with the ps3. But can you use it for voice recording for lbp2 and how do I set it up to use this feature

The eyetoy doesn't have a mic, so no. You can use pretty much any usb mic: I use my Rock Band mic personally, or you can use a bluetooth headset. I haven't seen a comprehensive comparison of the differences between mic quality, but I wouldn't be surprised if somebody does one after the game comes out. Personally, I find that the Rock Band mic gives better results than my bluetooth, but even the best mic will only give so-so results due to the nasty compression used.

The Eye Toy has a mic, so it should work fine. Just go to audio device settings and make sure that's set up. You record voice in the magic mouth, just scroll to audio for the mouth and flip over to record. Should work fine. I have the Eye Toy, an actually used it as a mic for a while. It sounds like a dishwasher, but you can record with it.

The eyetoy doesn't have a mic, so no. The Eye Toy has a mic, so it should work fine. Lol Here's what Wikipedia has to say: The camera is mounted on a pivot, allowing for positioning. Focusing the camera is performed by rotating a ring around the lens. It comes with two LED lights on the front. A blue light turns on when the PS2 is on, indicating that it is ready to be used, while the red light flashes when there is insufficient light in the room. There is also a microphone built in. A second, newer model of the EyeToy provides similar features, but sports a smaller size and silver casing. So I'd go with Nacho212 on this one.

can't even remember what the ps2 camera looks like but if it has microphone's it should work fine

Google :> PS3 should work with everything that use USB Audio stanrd, but still there might be some problems, so you better check if others tried to connect device to PS3 not just in LBP2 community
