Hey everyone is almost time for LittleBigPlanet 2 to come out (in the USA) and we will be adding another new member to our family. We only got 3 days left here is I thought it is appropriate for me to post this thread, we have to remember to good times that we will have in LittleBigPlanet1 from the magnificent levels to the incredible community as well as the awesome slapping. I will edit this thread until LBP2 comes out and will be adding old videos from LBP1 (manly trailer) to remember the good old days. YES! I still love LBP1... In the meantime, look at the review for LBP1. They mention the pure "fun" aspect of it, LBP2 seems to be simply "create" most of the time. (I can't find the review! I just had it earlier...) Also, old threads! Gahalnfsldaknfslangfda, why so people so dramatic aboit this change? Jeez, no offence, but its getting annoying with all these "Oh noes, LBP forever alone" or "LBP doomed to emptyness" or "PLay LBP1 agaiiiiiin" and all those "LPB suddendly dissapears apparently just because the sequel appeard" kinda threads. :/

There's threads like that from about 8 months ago though... Regardless of there being threads or not, I'm sure LBP2 will certainly be better than LBP1. I just like LBP1 because of nostalgia.

I haven't...seen any of those threads. They're examples, but there are plenty threads being overly dramatic about LBP1 being played less than before because the sequel is out. Of course you're gonna play the sequel more if you have it, that is an obvious no brainer answer, sure, you may still play the 1st game now and then, but people didn't buy the sequel to play the 1st game only.... Seriously, the sequel is out, less people wil play the 1st now, not saying there will be 0 people since not everyone's getting LBP2, but the population WILL be reduced, simple as that, now can we let it go insted of being overlydramatic over it?

I believe this thread is more of remembrance of LBP1 though, not of complaint about how it will be abandoned and forgotten. I think...

I'm not fighting, I'm merely placing my opinion about tese threads. The population for LBP1 only servers WILL reduce, even if you say 'move on' its still reducing, at the same time, LBP2 server's population will increase. I doubt its the exact same server, or that you can play with people playing LBP1 either, even if you are visiting a LBP1 level, as the new costumes if the other person had any parts of LBP2-only costumes/ decos on would not be compatible on LBP1, unless the servers ARE indeed the same, and you just aren't able to see/ play with LBP1 players online, in wich case, the population would indeed no decrease, but still be moving on.

I'll be remembering the LBP we had in 2008. I kinda miss just having fun in silly levels. The levels we have today are of course much better quality but somehow I really miss the feel of the old levels. Maybe I will some day play LBP1 just for the nostalgia feel of it, but I'll wait for LBP2 to come out first. Right now I play LBP1 to have fun

Aaa, so many awesome memories. Even if some disagreed, I love the floaty jumps, planets hung on strings, the awesome clipboard menu, the simpler way to navigate from planets, not as much submenus but still not being confusing, the better way to see friends as i showed friends on LBP, not on lbp but online and offline while now it's jsut those on LBP for LBP2, the better gas as I still wonder why they can't have the smoke machine jsut for smoke, not the gas too, hmf, anyway, there's some great stuff for LBP2 but there are few things that'll be msised about LBP1

The only reason people are rating down LBP2 is because with the many new Create tools, the reviewers focus on that instead of that fun LBP has. Therefore, giving it the CREATE aspect. Sad. The spirit of LBP1 will pass away but will be reborn into a a new 'fun'. LittleBigPlanet 2. Though, I admit that I miss the old Level-finding interface. Too annoying for each separate planet to load. :SH:

I remember how i met LBP... good times... I was on youtube, watching an animation called Charlie The Unicorn, and i saw a video of a level about Charlie The Unicorn in a game called: LittleBIGPlanet... I watched the video and said: Wow! this game looks preety realistic! Are there more LittleBigPlanet videos? Yes they are! So i watched alot of videos of LBP until i got in love with it. And i remember my first time playing LBP... The tutorials in spanish sound like this: En LittleBigPlanet, eres un peque?o Sack, este eres t?, ?M?ra que eres una monada! That is how it sounds in spanish... I got my PS3 and LBP for christmas 2009, i played all night, then had a little sleep and woke up early to play more... good times...

I've been playing levels from when I first got it back in the neginning of 2009, like "Distress in Ocean" and "Nobody's LittleBigHome". I have to say, while still fun, they seem increadibly dated, especially with the quality we have nowaday's. I'll probably keep it, but there's a slight chance I may trade in LBP1 when a new game I want comes out. I mean, it's not like we'll completly lose the LBP1 stuff forever, we'll still have all the stuff and levels from it.
