I pre-ordered on Amazon, release date delivery! AWESOME.... but... I just moved into my new apartment, and I never got my mailbox key. The last tenant lost it, I have to go to the post office to have them put a new box in, and I can't go until Thursday, and then it takes 2-3 days... wtf. How annoying is that, its just going to sit in my mailbox. I was thinking I could meet the mail guy before he puts it in but I have no clue when he shows up, or if he will even give it to me.

Just wait for the mail to come and snatch it before they put it in your box. Haha yeah, I just don't want to wait outside for 3 hours... or 6. Here's the real catcher... I could have it delivered to my dads, and get it Thursday... or risk it and try and snatch it on Tuesday...

You could just be doing something outside or by a window that looks outside for a few (surfing the web, playing some kind of game, reading, etc). Then when you hear the unmistakable engine sound you can bolt out of your home and tackle the mailman. Mission accomplished.

I dunno if you're in the US, but if Amazon sends your game UPS they should come right to your front door; I just moved out of an apartment complex and the UPS guy brought EVERYTHING to the front door. Now if they send it USPS, then you gotta worry, USPS almost never brings it to the door...but I'm willing to bet that for release date delivery we'll be getting UPS

My room's on the second floor with a nice view of the road, so I can see when the mailman's car gets here. Convenient for me to just walk outside as soon as I see him and get my stuff instantly. o

I've ordered from Amazon in the past and they always stick it in the mailbox though. But I haven't ordered for release date delivery though! About the window thing.. my mailbox is kind of far away, there is no way I could see it, or even hear him come unfortunately/

You could put a note on the mailbox the days leading up to the delivery, maybe try calling the local UPS office (assuming it does come from UPS) and advising them of the situation?

I'll receive mine CE just in 01/28 Yeah, I guess I should feel lucky with that perspective. I will admit its just hard not to feel spoiled.... If I am able to have it on the 18th then I should have it on the 18th... Honestly though, as long as I get the game I am happy.
