I'm working on a sick level, if its unfinished by LBP2 can I transfer it? Or, can I save the whole level as an object then place it on an empty moon? Replies appreciated.

Everything should carry over into lbp2 when prompted to import your profile. Due to some compatibility issues it may not be 100% guarantee though.

If you want to make sure that you have it in LBP2 just publish it locked.

When you import your file, all your levels on your moon from LBP1 will transfer over onto your LBP2 moon. From here, you edit LBP1 levels that are unfinished and whatnot. At least that's how it worked in the beta, and therefore I assume it will function the same way. Hope this helps.

I've had some problems importing my profile. I noticed if you slim down your profile, it transfers a lot easier. I backed up all the levels I wanted to keep, that were on my LBP1 moon, then I deleted them off. Once you import your now slim profile into LBP2, it should transfer easily. Then, import one of the levels you backed up (the one you want to work on), onto the moon like you would in LBP1, and it should work fine.

Keep in mind that when you import it to LBP2 this level will become LBP2 level and won't be playable if LBP1. So if you not plan to enhange it with LBP2 feature i recomend to finish it on LBP1 so both LBP1 and LBP2 players will enjoy it.

Well, it's not even CLOSE to finished, so I don't wanna spend a month on LBP1 finishing it when it could be on LBP2. Thank you for helping everyone!
