I've been coming around the site for a while now, just decided to register the other day. I was going to take care of the 'introduce yourself' bit then, but never got around to it. However, today I have a question so I figured why not kill two birds with one stone. A quick intro for anyone who's interested: I love video games, Resident Evil and LittleBIGPlanet being among my top favorites. A few months ago I decided to try my hand at costume creating. I love that as well. Which brings me to my question... I played the LBP 2 demo for the first time today (I know...I'm a little late) and I loved it. Unfortunately I did find a small problem and was hoping that someone would be able to shed some light. In LBP 1, as I'm sure everyone knows, there was a patch to stop Sackboy from bouncing up and down when trying to place a sticker or decoration on him. As a costume creator (albeit a newish one) this was a godsend. I found, to my dismay, that when trying to sticker myself Sackboy was bouncing! So...my question to all of you lovely people is, of course, WHY?! If anyone that has played the beta (or the full game, as I'm aware that some people already have it) would like to confirm or deny the existence of this feature, it would be greatly appreciated. Hey there! Welcome to LBPC! Glad to hear you finally joined us! Now, to your question... I was in the beta- and I wouldn't worry about that. By moving, I assume you mean that kind of bobbing thing our furry little friend tends to do - but when you place a sticker over him (in the beta anyway), he freezes. Another cool thing is that he doesn't just freeze as he's standing, but in a good clear posture so that it's easier to place stickers - although I never played around with costumes much in LBP1 so I wouldn't know if it's a new thing or anything... Anyway, I hope that answered your question! If you need anything else, just give us a shout! We're all pretty friendly here! Enjoy your stay at LBPC! Hey there and welcome! Also, as a fellow costume maker, and BETAeem I can assure you, that was probably just a small bug on the Demo, as I don't recall having this problem whilst making costumes in the BETA either.
